Marta,

I understand that the HAPPY99 virus is still in my machine and is being

sent with my e-mail. To all, please don't open that attachment. Can you

give me the web site for the fix?

Concerning me, the local internist and neurologist say no Lyme. Dr. J

said Lyme but try the immunoglobulin. Immunogolubin is not a steroid but a

human blood product. Based on my reading, the studies say this may

interrupt any autoimune process going on and most importantly, foster

remyelation. I went for 2 1/2 years without evidence of demyelination, the

Mayo said no MS so I deliver no MS. I am still experiencing many Lyme

symptoms, extreme ringing in my ears, popping and clicking of the neck, sore

neck, headache and Bell's palsy of the left face as well as spacity of the

left leg and arm. I am concerned about the demyelination. I would really

like to speak to Dr. B or some Lyme specialist concerning immunoglobulin.

I'll keep you posted.

Hi Larry,

Thanks for the update....but what do you think? Don't you think that

your illness is Lyme-related? I remember when you had that awful herx when

you were in court. I don't know very much about those High-Dose

Intravenous Immunoglobulin treatments. I hope they will not be harmful to

your Lyme disease. I DO know that any kind of steroid treatment will really

harm you if indeed you do have LD. I wish you could talk to Dr Burrascano

or some other knowledgeable Lyme doctor before you spend your money on these

expensive treatments. I am going to try to get you an email address for a

prominent Lyme doctor, (not Burrascano) I hope that he will respond and let

you know if this treatment protocol would be harmful. For all I know it may

be a good treatment, but I will feel better if you get another opinion. I

will send you the email address offlist as soon as I get it.

Hugs,

Marta

Hi Larry,

I am sending you a long list of sites about the Happy.exe virus, I

haven't noticed the attachments coming through on your mail lately though.

I am sure one of the sites will explain removal from your computer.

As for the Immunogolubin treatment, I am glad to hear it is not like a

steroid, I really have no medical expertise or knowledge at all. I just am

suspicious of any treatment I have not heard of relating to LD. I wrote a

friend of mine who has the email address of a doctor I know who would be a

great guy to talk to about this, I forgot she is away for the weekend, I

will probably hear back from her on Monday.

Since Carol Fisch mentioned she has been wanting this expensive

treatment, she must know more about it, maybe you two could discuss it and

share info.

The symptoms you mention are so LD.....never hear of MS patient with

Bell's palsy, don't these doctors have a clue???

Do keep us all posted on how you make out.

Hugs,

Marta

Hi Larry,

Sorry to hear the IgG infusion was so hard on you, hopefully you are

feeling better now. I doubt that it was stopping the Rocephin that caused

this though, I think more like herx. My latest IV of 28 days, ending March

18, was in the middle of a herx. Did you figure out your herxing cycle and

compare? Please keep us all posted of how this works for you, glad you are

still on abx, and Biaxin is good I hear.

Hang in there,

*hugs*

Kim, Honey,

4 bowls of cereal is way way to much. You can do this, we all can, Don't finish off the cereal, just throw it out in the yard for the birds, they will really enjoy it. What's going on to make you feel this way? If you need to talk just send me an email. I won't mind and I'm a good listener. Remember nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. It is so easy to make bad choices, but we have to be strong enough to say no to ourselves. I screw up all the time, but try to get back on as quickly as possible, not stay on the junkfood for as long as I can. When you toss the cereal out for the birds, take a quick walk to clear your head to try and figure out what's brought you to this point.

*thinking of you*

Last night I purchased some junk cereal and a bakery treat specifically to binge on them. This was after I ate 3 pieces of cold pizza that didn't taste so good.I couldn't think of anything positive to say after that.Today's food has been off plan so far. This was a conscious choice I made as well.Breakfast:2 bowls Peanut Butter Crunch cereal with milkLunch:4 bowls Peanut Butter Crunch cereal with milkThe cereal is nearly gone. I plan to finish the box before getting back on track.Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.Kim_________________________________________________________________Send and receive larger attachments with Hotmail Extra Storage. http://join.msn.com/?PAGE=features/es

This is how I did it with those chocolate chip cookies. Just *don't* do what

I did and go out and buy *more*! LOL

And please, make sure you get some decent food into you for dinner -

veggies, protein, etc., or else you'll just feel even worse tomorrow.

Kim!!!!

Oh my... I wish I could say " Hey.. what are ya doing? " , but after the

past couple of weeks I have no right. The girls got down the bag of

ch.chips this afternoon and I let them finish it off... well, all but

a few of them anyways. I just didn't need an open bag of them

sitting around.

Finish off that box if you must. I know I can't throw out food

unless it tastes awful or has mold on it... so I totally understand.

Just dont' tell me I have to get back on the straight and narrow to

get you back on! ;) Ok.... *if* I must.

a

who hopes to see you back on track tomorrow!

At least it keeps you too busy to grab something gooey and sweet! LOL

Have you been keeping track of those measurements for your " before and

after " comparisons for the future? You'll be amazed when the time comes that

you actually lost all those inches.

No, not yet. It was such a huge deal to simply get eating well

again. A monthly measure would probably be sort of fun. Maybe the

first of each month.

Hi group,

I didn't send this message so the spammers must be up and about again.

This whole spamming thing is getting out of hand and is really annoying

- unfortunately we can't do anything about it.

Sally ,keep track of when you hit your 1st negitive ya know 8 ,12 weeks ,yes and

you should have a baseline pcr ,cbc ,liver panel . the 1st pcr neg is extremely

important this will give you an idea of how much time you really need to spend

on tx ,an old lab formula of mine worked out with the greatest of care . My 1st

doc gave me 0% of svr ,so i found a doc who would go along with my game plan ,

took me 7 ,8 months to clear ,considered a non responder even by todays

standards .My doc goes must be something to this i know you would not go through

18 months of torture unless you really believe you got something . So been

negitive now fpr 33 months last pcr at month 32 , doc says he uses my standard

for the tough cases but tells em you might be in for a long ride .

Yea, but an old boyfriend calling in lust sure boosts

the spirits (if not the hormones), hey?

And you'll have to get used to planning your trips so

you can have some recovery time after.

We'll be with you, I've done the Pegasys thing for 15

months, and it's survivable. . .

Sally,

Hope you don't mind me asking but what's your riba dose and weight? I

can convert it to mg/kg and give you an idea of how high a dose it

is.

Looks like once you get enough INF more don't help but more riba

means better odds of svr. Bet your looking forward to another

injection. Really gonna miss the weekly jab in the thigh once this

is over, assuming it ever ends.

Sigh,

I don't have the riba dose yet, but my doc believes in dosing by weight. We

shall see.

Thanks for the support. :) And I hope that yours ends for you someday.

's plan sounds... daunting? But if it works, hey! Better than stopping

and starting again.

Hey, Michele! You know it! I'll take all the spirit boosts I can get. Might

even manage a pre-combo fling.

I appreciate you're good wishes. Did 10 months on regular combo, this is my

first try at pegylated.

50 grms fat 50 grms carbs 50 grms protein, says the up take is 70% better take

this at pill time i used a spoon of peanut butter and a beer or 2 or 3 just get

the dietary crap that suites you, remember i had no liver damage so beer didnt

matter non alcoholic beer will work but what ever you like that fits the bill .
