Dorothy Would brooklyn be too far for you to travel to see a good doc? I was to sick to my stomach all day , so I tried to sleep . I have officially stopped tx , this time I am quitting . So hopefully within the next few days I will be back to normal .. But I am going to email her tonight

Now, if there's going to be a tour, I need some advanced notice, ok? And I never said I was "cured", only undetectable. I double checked today with my friend who is in charge of the lab, (I should know better than to let fear guide my actions) just to make sure the results were right. She assured me that the machine is state-of-the art, from Germany, and there were only two samples run on the day of my test. She personally ran my test and is as sure as she can be. Also, one warning, and I'm sure Pete will back me up on this, the medicinal tea that I drink tastes worse than terrible, smells like boiled boot leather, and stains the teeth if you don't brush right after drinking it. I am new and not sure what's going on, but it sounds frustrating. Hope

Hey dont knock the gatorade ,lol its the only thing I was able to stomach and keep down most of the time .So without it I would have ended up in the hospital ,hehe

Thank you for your kind words , right now I just feel guilty . Guilty because I gave up , I have always fought to stay on treatment until the doctors forced me off . This time it was alot different , with daily shots of infergen which were worse than the once a week peg shots

The only aftereffects that I can complain of have been fatigue and some bone loss . But the hep c can cause that to happen anyway . I have some short term memory problems but nothing that I cant live with .

I have gone through treatment 3 times before this last time , and I managed to survive but the new infergen shots are real nasty . Dont let my whimping out scare ya ,lol treatment is doable for almost everyone . I just had every imaginable side effect known this last time . I am going to treat again eventually , and hopefully with a protease inhibitor .

Oh Sweetheart, I can't even imagine how bad you must have felt! I had every-other-day injections, and I thought it was hell. Please know, each of us can be our own worst enemy, or best friend. Be your best friend! Love yourself enough to forgive yourself, as you would your best friend. There is no shame in what you've done. If you believe in a God, then believe that he/she guides your actions. You did this three times before and relapsed each time. God knew that it was futile, because your time for healing is not yet here. If you don't believe in God, have confidence in yourself. You made the right decision for you at this time. Perhaps it was intuition, letting you know that it was time to give up this attempt, heal yourself for a time, and while you are healing, you're giving science time to find a better way to help you. Or you can believe as I do that life is as it is

supposed to be. The things that seem like tragedy today, may be our biggest blessings. There may not be a silver lining in every cloud, but there is a flower somewhere that waits for rain. Finally, having only been with this group a short time, I have never the less seen many posts ( many from you ) showing where great things are very near, and by waiting even one or two months you may find that your chances of clearing long term go way up, or that by waiting you can treat with a much less toxic Rx. .. Guilty because I gave up , I have always fought to stay on treatment until the doctors forced me off .
