Guest guest
> What do you mean there are no posts in the archives? - Amy A search for " Body for life recipes " came up empty on . I did find a " BFL recipes " group, it had 9 members and no posts in the archives. Did the group you belonged to go by a different name? Guest guest
I don't know if BP is planning a second EFL book, but, as an fyi, there are many recipes at www.bodybuilding.com that follow the same principles. Guest guest
I JUST made this: its a roast/grill chicken recipe by Lynn (she's like the Schwartenegger of Female Figure Champs) from Oxygen Mag June '06 CHICKEN SATAY 2tbs peanut butter (natural or fat reduced) 1/2 cp. low-sodium soy sauce 1/2 cup lemon or lime juice 4 packs Splenda 2 tbsp curry powder (I used cumin and corriander) 2 clobes garlic, chopped (necessity) 1tsp hot pepper sauce 6 skinless, bonelss chicken breasts cubed Mix it all and marinade for 2 hours. You can grill it, but I roast/grilled it in my SANYO Convection oven (ahhh technology)--for 23 min. Calories: 321 Fat: 8g Carbs: 18g Protein: 46g This is seriously good for yourself, company, family, dates etc.... > > Hey.... does anyone know if Bill is planning a second EFL book? Although I would have to wonder how many chicken recipes one list could handle (Raven laughs because most Aspies she knows all have chicken at the top of their list as their favourite food). Guest guest
There is a cookbook database in the Database section which has one of my recipees in it. Last I checked, no one added theirs. I was thinking of deleting it but I will keep it if anyone wants it. Tom Administrator Re: Recipes (I wonder... has this list ever had people send in their favorite recipes?) Guest guest
I used to cook, but being such a perfectionist, it was hard to get it just right. One recipe for fish was: 3 parts lemon juice, 1 or 2 parts lime juice, and maybe a little of something else to experiment, and enough olive oil to thicken it a little, make it less runny but not so much as to overwhelm the fruit juices.. Spread this glaze on the fish steak, tuna works best. The oil should make it clingy enough not to run. You can add a little pepper if you like. I usually let it marinade in a vaccuum container for a while, to let the juice be absorbed. Then cook the fish as you like. Takes some tries to balance it to taste. For good quality hamburgers: I will put a bit of tabasco sauce on top before cooking, just a little and stirred around well. Maybe also some Worchetershire sauce too. Also a little steak seasoning powder. Then cook to taste. For steaks I sometimes use the same, but I at times will have different seasoning on different sides. I might use this on one side and just basic seasoning powder on the other. The right combination can have a unique effect. Plain steak seasoning on one side, powder type, and a lemon seasoning powder on the other is one that I like. See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
i hope i didn't confuse anybody, i wanted to mention some recipes i had success with and enjoyed, but i hcan't give out someone elses recipes. i would be happy, however, to give out i simple dessert recipe i love. i call it a fried apple. i don't always measure things, i hope that won't be a problem. i peel a golden delicious apple and slice it. i pour some extra virgin olive oil n a frying pan, enough to coat the bottom of a medium size pan. in go the slices and a pinch of sea salt. i use a medium low heat and start stirring with a wooden rice paddle, a few minutes until the apple slices soften. then i pour in some Lundberg rice syrup, enough to coat the apples and reduce the heat to low, keep stirring til the sryup heats and bubbles a little then add a dash of vanilla, and then just put it in a small dish and serve. From: -owner <-owner >Subject: recipes Date: Friday, February 18, 2011, 5:19 PM I've found that when people talk about recipes, it's better to post the actual recipe, helps other who are reading about it to understand what you're talking about. Also to share is helpful.
