That would help with your copays , I believe the web site is www.amgen.com . One has to really wonder which is the better way to go..PPO or HMO.. and I were both diagnosed same month and she is long past her biopsy. I, on the other hand am still fighting for my biopsy. Hmmmm seems like Tricare is still the best for me at this time. But they have you by the conjoines no matter which way you go. If they keep gripping so hard I am going to be conjoinesless. My doctor bills the insurance 138.00 my co-pay at the time is 12.00 Tricare paid my doctor 46.00 = left over and my responsibility 76.00 What the heck do I have insurance for and why do I pay a co-pay right then and there??? Why can't I wait till they send the rest of the bill? Ok now blood test, Hemoglobin Glycated my doctor billed 48.00 my insurance paid 33.93 my part 14.07 (okay that is not too bad) I can handle that one. And so forth and so forth. Sorry to keep going on and on about this... I'm still mad about paying $524 for my neupogen, which I started taking yesterday. I found out that drug actually costs $2680.00!!! I do count my blessings that I at least have insurance to cover most of it!! I go to get a lab drawn today. Well, 10% of 2000 (thats how much the pegasys costs) is $200. And 10% of $2680 (that'a how much the neupogen costs) is $524. I would apply for assistance from them!
