Hi, it's . I can't help but spot an opportunity here. Where is Birmingham

AL??? Is that in America somewhere? Now that Dr Koury knows of casting, I wonder

if he'd ever begin doing it at this hospital??? How cool would that be.

I understand how you'd be feeling . I'd be devastated if Dr Gray

left!!!

This time Nadia was 9 degrees out of cast supine after almost 48 hours out of

cast. In cast she was 0 degrees, 0 rotation, 0 RVAD. Dr. K's latest opinion is

that he will start bracing at under 6 degrees (which I assume means starting at

5 degrees). Thanks for asking! Looking forward to hearing about Ian next week.

Also, I don't think anyone mentioned it yet. But did everyone know that Dr.

Khoury is leaving Shriner's? He'll be starting at Children's Hospital in

Birmingham, AL starting June 1.

Birmingham is in the state of Alabama. and I are both going to be there

on Thursday, so I am sure we will both be asking those very questions!

i'm very curious about dr. khoury's ideas about when to change from a

cast to a brace. did he say anything about age of the child or how

long they had been in casts -- or was it just cobb angle?
