March 9, 2006 While advocating for policies to clear the air of fragrances, why not include other asthma triggers such as pesticides, air fresheners, solvents, mold and the whole brew of cleaning chemicals and hazardous aerosols? They all can add up to a wide range of health and learning difficulties including, headaches, dizziness, irritability, rashes, sinus infections, immune system disorders, and poor attention, concentration, and coordination. Make the connection between healthy air and high performance. We are not alone. We can link to these national campaigns for asthma awareness, lung health, injury prevention, safety, fitness, high performance, pollution prevention, wellness, and healthy schools.
