Elissa,

I use a hand held garden pump sprayer with a cup of Lysol (dettrol) to a gallon of hot water and spray the ceilings well. It drips all over the carpet for a few minutes. I cover TV, etc with a plastic trash bag. Then I use a swival mop with a bonnet and spray the walls and can clean the walls in a room in 5 minutes. Finally, I shampoo the carpet with it. It will not hurt the color of anything.

Love and light,

My bites are actual bites not sensations. My son and I have bite marks when/where we feel bites. My body is again reacting to their saliva or whatever else they inject into my skin.

I get vibrations and crawlies on my upper back....these are not bugs/mites, but the sensations that come with the lyme complex.

I used to get biting sensations/pricks but don't as of now. Since on abx, my brain is clear and I can tell the difference. It is a gross feeling to have them drop on me from the ceiling over the bed....that is the only place I don't spray.

I'll be changing that tonight!

Hi Eelisa

I had burning sensations on upper back too , itried everything till I used

the peroxide mix it stopped it in 3 mins flat , I used to have to wait 4 days

for the sulfur creme to stop it , it was as big as a wallet once , burned like

it was going to catch fire . . I had actual wiggling in my upper back too , I

coulnt think it was so distracting . Thank God for all you poster sharing your

finds. You all saved me. I haven't felt the wiggling I 3 years , I had it for 2

years tll I putt the peroxide mix on it & left it on . It is painless, like

water. But it is veryeffective .I hit any itch I get with it instantly .

Here is the post I learned it from

Summary

http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/dog_mange_cure.html

The mix:

2 tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster

16 oz peroxide (3%)

32 oz water.

mix it , and the borax nuetralizes the peroxide, it is painless & the is no fizz

or bruning from this mix & it is cheap

If they are deep ones per Trisha at Esp botanicals , I use

8tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster

8 oz peroxide (3%)

8 oz water.

Klls even deep ones fast I did it for 19 days straight top of head to toe then

Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent baths 1 time every 2 weeks , if that

maybe monthly .

For the scalp 2 tesp borax in 28 oz of water & spritzed on in a windex bottle

like a rinse & combed thru & left it is painless & invisible & it kills the bug

& the infected cut feeling this bug brings , within 1-2 days if I happen in

to some bugs & I need to kill them .

Before they 3 tbls Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent in my shampoo

blttle & 30 oz of water as a pre shampoo for 2-8 mins , it burns the bug right

off . Then rinse & shampoo , rinse & put 2 tbls cococnut oil inthe tub & soak

for 5-20 mins, it stops the crawling. Bug can't navigate oil , it plugs up the

breathing hole ,

Ok , sorry , HERE IS THE POST REPASTED HERE : :

I have a reason for posting this, that will come.

For now, there is good info here. I have used this on myself and is what healed

my first two craters of simmering hell on my arms way back when. I will remind

you those lesions were on the order of 7cm long and 5 cm wide. Substitute human

for dog. There is a great explanation of the usefulness of H202, vinegar, and

borax.

The actions of Borax can also be applied to the environment. This will also tell

you on how Borax works to kill and also addresses toxicity issues. Also,

remember, H202 is a penetrant and very effective.

Frito

Ted replies, " A definitive recipe is add 1-2 tablespoon of borax per 500 cc of

ide solution. To make a 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1%, roughly gaet one part of 3%

H2O2 plus two parts of water. Then apply them on the dog. Wash with this

solution daily, no rinsing. If it doesn't go away, I have found mites, or mange

to have a large " beehive " hidden somewhere. In which case, quarantine the dog in

a small area that is 100% sterile. "

" Approximate measurements are 1 bottle of 500 of 3% H2O2, plus 1000 of the cc

of water, plus heaping 3 tablespoons of borax. Stir until most of borax is

dissolved. The borax is past the point of saturation here so you will see some

borax around. Technically the concentration is around 1.5% H2O2, and this is a

bit stronger because by the time we finish with it, the H2O2 gets reacted with

other things, and by the time we used it is is usually ends up near a 1%

solution anyway. "

" You need to get put as much borax until it no longer dissolves in a pail of

water and forms a precipitate. This is a saturated solution of borax. Add H2O2

to about 1% concentration to a pail of water. Soak the entire dog, several

times. Keep the dog wet for some time. The borax will destroy the eggs from

laying under the skin which causes the mange. Get some solution and spray or use

this to wipe all floors so the dog will not get re infected. Repeat this every

week when bathing. This is not a perfect cure, but it my dog now no longer have

mange. My dog was completely cured. You can try other chemicals such as sodium

perborate, which is more convenient since you don't need to add the hydrogen

peroxide. "

" The solution (borax or preferably sodium perborate) is to be applied AFTER the

shampooing and rinsing. The sodium perborate should remain on the dog after the

bath. You will not rinse this at all. It must remain on the dog throughout the

day so that it will act continuously on the bugs. "

" However, I do recommend a less toxic form of borax, which is sodium perborate

if you can find one. The secret is that borax (plus hydrogen peroxide) will work

better then most other remedies I have tried, this includes mineral oil, neem

oil (no, neem oil does not kill the mange as effectively as sodium ....

Hi

You asked if I ever used anything internal, no I didn't . I am afraid of pills

& there side effects. May be it would of helped . One of my favorits posters ,

Zooks , used a parsite cleanse & all skin medicine & heat treated her house ( her

skin medicine , perm ,sulfur, benzol benatate ) I never used perm , I saw many

people use it 60 or more time with no results probally because the got

reinfected. Xooks said it is a 3 prong approach

Externnal skin

Environment extermination

Internal parasite cleanse. .

She is totally cured now for 4-5 years Praise God ! She even had fibers &

lesions. I never saw a fiber or a bug, it felt like I could feel them though

I once had frain fog very bad

Digestive disorders.

Small lesions on my head that would not heal ..

Bites 700 at one time .

Crawling feeling all over .

Wiggling sensations.

Burning sensations.

Rashes , huge.

3-4 bites in a row.

Blisters.

A swarming deeling about my head area

Piercing feelings going into my skin .

Cuts out of nowhere from nothing

A feeling like a piece of nylon fishing line is sticking out of my skin.

Itching like crazy .

Thank God it is gone now & thank God I had all you people to talk too & help me

with all the extermination.

Most all is contained in the Farmers tips. The body heals itself after a while

Mites and farmer tricks

bird mites/message/10634

I don't know where you people are from, whether it be city, or too far north to

know this, but " mites " are nothing new, and there is nothing " foreign about

them.

I was raised, and still live in Louisiana, which is called, " semi-tropical. " I

was raised on a farm/ranch. There are so many different types of mites, that

bite, that I will not begin to try to list many; I will give a few examples.

Warm blooded animals get lice; plants get lice; they are not the same type of

lice. the " lice " that infest your turnip green patch, will not bite you because

it suddenly " got warmer " in the US. The mites and lice that infest your chicken

house, will not be satisfied with sucking on turnip greens; but they will crawl

all over a human and give you the " itch " for many days after you have gotten

rid of the mites. There are " redbugs, " picked up from walking through grass,

brush, or sometimes dirt. They will burrow under your skin and make you want to

take a wire brush and shed your won hide off. There are seed ticks that will

cover you from brushing against the wrong tree limb, or infest your living room

when you buy that " real " tree at Christmas. The " Mange " in dogs, or as we

humans dislike having to call it, " Scabies, " that will infest you and all your

pets. There are hog lice, chiken mites, Sarcopic mange, ring worm, ( & scores of

other funguses from cattle and horses and dogs), that humans can get. There is

the " creeping crud, " a fungus, that sometimes does not show to the naked eye for

months, but will make you claw until you bleed, usually starting at the

ankles and working up; it lives in the soil. While we back woods, country people

may call all these vermin and varmints funny names, and we may seem

stupid to some, we know these critters you are talking about; they were here in

the US long before you went overseas. It is just as possible that you caught it

from your Georgia tent mate when he returned from leave, as it is that you

caught it in Iraq, or some other " hot " place.

We have put a couple of cap fulls of pine oil or bleach in our bath water for

years; we have cleaned our houses with pine oil for hundreds of years. We have

dabbed pine oil, turpintine, and sometimes if desperate enough, coal oil, on

redbugs, (and various other critters that attached themselves to us), to kill

them for hundreds of years. We have coated ourselves in various kinds of fats,

mud, and paste to keep them off, and to kill them when they decided to live on

us anyway. We have bathed in baking soda, salt and epsoms salt to keep from

itching; smeared paste from mustard, baking soda and tobacco to help. We have

taken the " skin " from egg shells and pit on bad bites, to draw the " itch " out.

We have chewed on the sulphur ends of hard matches, and made a paste out

of " flowers of sulfur; " which bugs hate the smell of, and it keeps the bites

from getting infected. One of the bad things about itchy bites, it all that

scratching and hot, blooding flesh, attracts even more critters.

As for borax; you can buy " 20 Mule Team " borax powder; it's been around longer

than any of us. We wash with it, neutralize orors with it, remove stains with

it, etc. Most of all, down here, we have been rubbing it on our meat in our

smoke houses for ages; flies won't even light on it. we just wash it off when

we take it out to eat. I heard in the eighties, that they were " blowing "

recycled, chipped up, news papers into the walls of old historical homes to

insulate them. Guess what they were soaking the news paper in prior to drying

and chopping it up? That's right...Borax. Not only does it kill bugs, repel

bugs, repel rodents and prevent them from chewing and nesting in the paper

insulation, but it makes the paper fire retardent. You can make your on roach

and ant bait with it by mixing it with flour and sugar, or just corn syrup and

Borax. You can use it like carpet fresh, and you can wash your walls and floors

and counters with it; use it as a paste for scrubbing; just don't rinse it too

well, and you will see a lessening of itchy critters. And for people that want

their clothes clean, but do not like fragrance fumes, etc., it's the best for

your laundry.

Bill,

You described me to a "T". I do think it is these flies moving in on us. The articles I read said peroxide is good to get rid of them in the environment.

Love and light,

From: Doe <doe1769@...>bird mites Sent: Saturday, January 7, 2012 8:42 AMSubject: Re: Has anyone tried lymesulfur dip on pets to kill mites?

Hi You asked if I ever used anything internal, no I didn't . I am afraid of pills & there side effects. May be it would of helped . One of my favorits posters , Zooks , used a parsite cleanse & all skin medicine & heat treated her house ( her skin medicine , perm ,sulfur, benzol benatate ) I never used perm , I saw many people use it 60 or more time with no results probally because the got reinfected. Xooks said it is a 3 prong approach Externnal skinEnvironment exterminationInternal parasite cleanse. .She is totally cured now for 4-5 years Praise God ! She even had fibers & lesions. I never saw a fiber or a bug, it felt like I could feel them though I once had frain fog very badDigestive disorders. Small lesions on my head that would not heal .. Bites 700 at one time .Crawling feeling all over .Wiggling sensations.Burning sensations. Rashes , huge. 3-4 bites in a

row. Blisters. A swarming deeling about my head area Piercing feelings going into my skin .Cuts out of nowhere from nothing A feeling like a piece of nylon fishing line is sticking out of my skin. Itching like crazy . Thank God it is gone now & thank God I had all you people to talk too & help me with all the extermination. Most all is contained in the Farmers tips. The body heals itself after a while . As God Said ask and you shall receive. Seek and you will find . Knock and it shall be opend unto you. my favorite post Mites and farmer trickslinkbird mites/message/10634I don't know where you people are from, whether it be city, or too far north to know this, but "mites" are nothing new, and there is nothing "foreign about them.I was raised, and still live in Louisiana, which is called, "semi-tropical. " I was raised on a

farm/ranch. There are so many different types of mites, that bite, that I will not begin to try to list many; I will give a few examples. Warm blooded animals get lice; plants get lice; they are not the same type of lice. the "lice" that infest your turnip green patch, will not bite you because it suddenly "got warmer" in the US. The mites and lice that infest your chicken house, will not be satisfied with sucking on turnip greens; but they will crawl all over a human and give you the "itch" for many days after you have gotten rid of the mites. There are "redbugs," picked up from walking through grass, brush, or sometimes dirt. They will burrow under your skin and make you want totake a wire brush and shed your won hide off. There are seed ticks that will cover you from brushing against the wrong tree limb, or infest your living roomwhen you buy that "real" tree at Christmas. The "Mange" in dogs, or as we

humans dislike having to call it, "Scabies," that will infest you and all your pets. There are hog lice, chiken mites, Sarcopic mange, ring worm, ( & scores of other funguses from cattle and horses and dogs), that humans can get. There is the "creeping crud," a fungus, that sometimes does not show to the naked eye for months, but will make you claw until you bleed, usually starting at the ankles and working up; it lives in the soil. While we back woods, country people may call all these vermin and varmints funny names, and we may seem stupid to some, we know these critters you are talking about; they were here in the US long before you went overseas. It is just as possible that you caught it from your Georgia tent mate when he returned from leave, as it is that you caught it in Iraq, or some other "hot" place. We have put a couple of cap fulls of pine oil or bleach in our bath water for years; we have

cleaned our houses with pine oil for hundreds of years. We have dabbed pine oil, turpintine, and sometimes if desperate enough, coal oil, on redbugs, (and various other critters that attached themselves to us), to kill them for hundreds of years. We have coated ourselves in various kinds of fats, mud, and paste to keep them off, and to kill them when they decided to live on us anyway. We have bathed in baking soda, salt and epsoms salt to keep from itching; smeared paste from mustard, baking soda and tobacco to help. We have taken the "skin" from egg shells and pit on bad bites, to draw the "itch" out. We have chewed on the sulphur ends of hard matches, and made a paste out of "flowers of sulfur;" which bugs hate the smell of, and it keeps the bites from getting infected. One of the bad things about itchy bites, it all that scratching and hot, blooding flesh, attracts even more critters. As for borax; you

can buy "20 Mule Team"borax powder; it's been around longer than any of us. We wash with it, neutralize orors with it, remove stains with it, etc. Most of all, down here, we have been rubbing it on our meat in our smoke houses for ages; flies won't even light on it. we just wash it off when we take it out to eat. I heard in the eighties, that they were "blowing" recycled, chipped up, news papers into the walls of old historical homes to insulate them. Guess what they were soaking the news paper in prior to drying and chopping it up? That's right...Borax. Not only does it kill bugs, repel bugs, repel rodents and prevent them from chewing and nesting in the paper insulation, but it makes the paper fire retardent. You can make your on roach and ant bait with it by mixing it with flour and sugar, or just corn syrup and Borax. You can use it like carpet fresh, and you can wash your walls and floors and counters

with it; use it as a paste for scrubbing; just don't rinse it too well, and you will see a lessening of itchy critters. And for people that want their clothes clean, but do not like fragrance fumes, etc., it's the best for your laundry. If the varmints are eating your ankles up, mix some borax with your lotion or vaseline; it will repel them and has antibiotic propertiesSummary : Borax$3.99Mustard 2.00skin of egg $1.99 haven't tried that one yet coaltar shampoo 5.99pinesol $4.00bleach .69 sulphur $12.00 www.Americarx.combaking soda $1.00tobacco $4.00 fats .01 off a steak mud $.00 and make s pastePretty cheap ! I think that is awful that the doctor would not give you something because of no proof of mites. But it is typical. I went to dermatology and they did a biopsy which did come back "insect related bites..." for what that is worth. But they were not able to do anything about it. I also asked for an appointment with Infectious Disease Department and when they found out that I felt I had gotten Morgellons, they cancelled my appointment. Never gave me antibiotics, so I had to get a Lyme Doctor which I needed to do anyway. I hope you get somewhere C. I sure didn't. But good luck and you are still in my prayers and thoughts. From: "Sad Girl" <wherearetheangels@...>bird mites Sent: Monday, January 9, 2012 12:07:24 PMSubject: Re: Has anyone tried lymesulfur dip on pets to kill mites? Thanks aggiI asked the doc for thatBut as she had no.proof of mites she wudnt give me itOffered psychiatrist n anti depresants instead!:-(Goin bak to doc on wednesdayAsk dermatologyAsk antibiotic cream for itchAsk antibioticsWunder if will get anywhere:-(------------------------------On Mon, Jan 9, 2012 09:46 PST Aggi Assmann wrote:>A broadband abx did help me tremendously. Hi Aggi

Where do you buy your doxyciline from ? I've looked on the internet, but a lot of he online 'pharmacies' look a little dubious - it's hard to tell if what you will be getting is the real deal.

Did your itching and bites stop once you got started on the doxy? I'm still suffering with this after 16 months, so is my mum, but I think she is feeling slightly better as she's done a lot more cleaning than me.. I've been feeling depressed for quite a while and not been able to do much apart from clean my clothes and get myself to work lately...

Do you remember I got the 'dutchy mites' for indoors, to eat the bird mites? they didn't really do anything, perhaps we had too many of these damn things, I don't know.

I'm moving house at beginning of March and want to try to build myself up a bit before I do, as right now I don't have the wherewithall.

I'm really pleased your feeling much better, it must feel fantastic to enjoy the things we all take for granted again.. I am soooo looking forward to that day :0)

Amoxicillin is a broader spectrum more modern type of penicillin. Didn't someone talk of reacting to penicillin? On 10 January 2012 11:44, Elissa <elissarachel@...> wrote:

Hi Kaz,

Of course I do remember you and so sorry the predator's didn't work for you. That's the reason I only used to use them in my car. I figured, that for the whole house I would have needed too many cartridges and that would have cost a fortune. But in the car it really worked well !

Have you tried cleaning with Lysol, which is Dettol in the UK? For me it made all the difference. I used to clean and spray and add it as a conditioner in the washing machine and still do ! But my biggest turning point was starting to get on anti-fungal and abx. I started off with the anti-fungal 'Itraconazole" and followed up with Doxycycline. Both can be purchased at 'doctoronline.com', a European online pharmacy. It is legal, you need to fill in a form (just do not mention the mites!), and then a doctor assesses your case and the drugs are sent to you via mail. It only takes 2 days from ordering to delivery and I am very pleased with it. When they asked for the purpose of the drug I filled in skin fungus for the anti-fungal and bladder infection for the abx ;-)

Yes, it does feel great living a normal life again and I am very certain you will get there, too ! Do not give up Kaz, although it might feel hopeless right now.

I was depressed, suicidal and thought I would die of exhaustion at one point and am now 99.9% better now. I still do not like the time around full moons, but overall life is just great again !

Just do let me know, if you have any further questions and do not forget, that you will get better once you address the internal issues !

I started off with an anti-fungal for 2 months, followed by Doxycycline 100mg caps twice a day. Probiotics in between the 2 doses.

Since December 22nd I am on a maintenance dosis of 100 mg Doxy per day, I am planning to take long term and as long as necessary.

I am 99.9% better and living a normal life after 2 1/2 years of mite terror. Still cleaning and washing a lot though;

Aandraya, I talked briefly with the doctor and she said it was a western blot

but didn't say if it was Igenix or not. I have 1x of 23kdigm and 1x on 41kdigg.

Mainly my symptoms are just biting and not being able to get them out of my

stuff. I thought I had small black specs, but it only happened once after I

sprayed my mattress and the entomologist said it was debri. Anyway, I haven't

seen any since but I can't tell for sure if the bites are only environmental or

coming from me which I suspect. I feel them in my feet a lot. I've seen some

white lines on my arms and hands but maybe they're just pigment, I don't pay

them much attention anymore. I had my apartment sprayed yesterday and will see

if this works any better than last time. Still can't get them out of my

comforters and sneakers and the little I have left.
