Guest guest
Hi, When my daughter wouldn't sleep very well when she was little I put her in one of those little vibrating chairs that are a little slanted. She slept sitting up. I used a lot of batteries, but it definitely was worth it. I could move that chair anywhere. The vibrating also helped with her colic also. It got all of the bubbles out of her belly. I hope this helps! Shanni
Guest guest
Geri, Have you tried putting her in her car seat after you get her to sleep. It worked for my babies. The car seat makes them feel cradled like in your arms. My last two slept this way for the first 4 months of their lives then we began to slowly wean them out of the seats and into the crib. BTW I just put the car seats in the cribs. I hope this helps, Gail VW Gsrose30@... wrote: > Thank you mary, > but no she does not have a long stretch. Guest guest
In case anyone is interested, you can buy used books (CDs, videos, games, too) at great prices at www.half.com. Right now for new members, if you buy 3 items, there's no shipping costs. I ordered a gameboy cartridge, and 2 books. I didn't get Breaking Out of Food Jail, but I did order another book by the same author, How to Become Naturally Thin by Eating More for $1.88! The other book I ordered is by Geneen Roth (I forget the title!) cost $2.25. Dawn G.--Massachusetts There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away. Guest guest
Dawn, Thanks for the link. I also have the book "How to Become Naturally Thin by Eating More" I actually got it first and liked it so much that I got "Breaking ouf of food jail" My husband's secretary is the one who originally introduced me to BodyFlex several years ago. She saw the infomercial and ordered the program. She then watched it, thought it was the stupidest thing she had ever seen and was planning on sending it back. My husband thought it looked like something that I would be interested in because I have to be careful of what I do because of old sports injuries. My knees swell really bad if I run or do high impact things. I have since added Oxycise, and now LifeLift. I am so glad to have found LifeLift too! I was in the office the other day and his secretary asked me what I was doing to shed so much weight! She was serious so I told her about LifeLift. She thought I was holding out on her. LOL! So, I told her that I had also quit dieting and was following the principles laid out in these two books, "Breaking out of food jail", and "How to Become Naturally Thin by Eating More". I told her it was really just common sense, but I had been so messed up in my idea of food that I had lost track of my common sense when it came to food and these books helped to line me out in that area. She wasn't willing to do the breathing, but wanted to borrow my books. I told her I would only loan her one of them. She chose the "How to Become Naturally Thin by Eating More" book. Well, for some reason, I was in a quirky mood and was a little too dramatic! I jokingly (I thought) told her that I wanted it back and if she didn't return it, I would have to track her down like a dog after a bone! She laughed and I left. That was on a Friday. Well, come Monday morning, my husband calls me and says he doesn't know what I told his secretary, but she is in a panic, I apparently scared her to death and she was completely beside herself. Apparently what had happened was for some reason her dog over the weekend thought the book looked like a wonderful snack and actually ate half the book!!!! LOL! She was just too scared to tell me!!! I almost died of laughter at the situation! How ironic, I had told her that I would track her down like a dog after a bone, and her dog used the book as a bone!!! I quickly assessed that she didn't feel it was funny at all, so, I told her not to worry about it, I had secretly covered the book in gravy and her dog just couldn't help it! She laughed and that broke the tension. I of course apologized for causing her so much distress and told her that I thought she knew that I was just kidding. She said she thought so, but....... So, be careful what you say, it might just happen! LOL! ~Karma In case anyone is interested, you can buy used books (CDs, videos, games, too) at great prices at www.half.com.
