Guest guest
Are you still breastfeeding? You can put some expressed milk into the ear and that will help clear it out. I think it’s depends on susceptibility too. My vaxxed and unvaxxed kids have always been healthy but I don’t allow a lot of junky crap for food either.. stay the course! Believe me, vaccines are no favor to your children. They are not necessary. They just help you blend in with the crowd. They won’t protect her from getting the diseases she’s vaxxed for if you did go vax. Is it bothering her? There are homeopathic remedies you can give or just leave it alone. It will heal. AFAIK, they don’t treat ear infections in Europe and you haven’t heard all of Europe is deaf from untreated ear infections. Antibiotics don’t help it heal any faster either. But the huge numbers of ear infections in infants after first vaccines, are strongly related to the vaccines. Unvaccinated children are never going to be disease-free, if that is what you were expecting. An inflammation of an eardrum, and be called an ear infection, can occur for many reasons. How are you treating the ear infection. Homeopathy works nicely with it and it even has been proven that antibiotics don't do much different or get rid of the ear infection faster than just waiting and giving time. Would have to know more about your children. And not all children have susceptibility to vaccine injury - there are many walking around doing just fine, so far. There is so much hat is involved. I'm curious why you think vaccines are necessary. Which vaccines? Which diseases? That's why I teach the classes that I do so people can learn about the diseases. And vaccines do NOT give immunity, so why would they be necessary. And where did you hear that autism was around before vaccines. Sounds like you have some disinformation. It wasn't called autism? What was it called then? And the % of children now with autism is nothing near what numbers are of anything that could possibly be autism, even if called something different. First autism report in the 40s after the early use of diphtheria and pertussis and combo of DPT vaccines all with mercury. Also today we have a lot of things that are called autism and should have different names. Many that regress after vaccines, but were developing normally since birth, that I call regressive autism, is very dfiferent than early 'autism' that began to be reported in the 40's. Some children seem to be 'different' from birth...................they don't develop normally into autism. There are many factors here and doctors love to put everything into a category and call it a name. Here is more I wrote to someone else. There is the label of autism which really should be called regressive autism or something else. The child is developing normally or somewhat normally and then regresses at some point after many vaccines (often MMR is the final straw) AND there is the child that has always been abnormal since birth and also is labeled autistic. I don't know of any child that has regressed after 1 year into 'autism' who was not vaccinated or received heavy amounts of antibiotics while in utero or post delivery via breastmilk or directly given to the child. But there are unvaccinated children who have been 'abnormal' since birth who are labeled autistic (these are the great minority however) (also other issues may be involved here - antibiotic issue again, pitocin-forced delivery, other emotional/trauma issues during pregnancy, mom getting rubella vaccine or MMR within a few years of conception, other mercury exposure to mom - amalgams, rhogam, other, and who knows what else.) > >This is the topic of discussion in our household lately. The key is to research the reality of the diseases with vaccines associated with them. Guest guest
Kim, My 19 month old son hasn't had an ear infection, but he has had colds. I think it's too early to decide if he's healthier than un-vaxed kids. However, I'm not doing vaxes because of what's IN the vaxes, as opposed to because of the autism debate. I'm a little different that way. Good luck! I hope you daughter feels better soon! ~Robyn rwardin wrote: > I just wanted to vent that my 15 month old daughter, who is > unvaccinated and breastfeed, has an ear infection. Guest guest
I don’t vax b/c of what is IN them either. I can’t say for sure if ’s Asperger syndrome was set off or induced by vaccines, she was too little when she started getting her vaxxes. Now I wasn’t the mom in the office every 2, 4 and 6 months.. she was late on a lot of her shots but she did still have them. However, I have heard enough anecdotal evidence to not trust a vaccine and then I learned what was in them and oh my gosh! It was shocking and I was mad. Mad no one ever said ‘hey, this is what we’re about to inject into your child” no one ever offered to let me read or told me I could read the label on the package of the shot. No one ever recorded what lot # or anything…so for me too, even if there were not stories of autism after vaccines, it’s enough for me to know what is in them and I don’t want that crap in my kids OR ME! I read every label, most of the time, of everything I buy unless I’m in a huge hurry. I bought that K2O water, thinking it would be good to carry around for my hypoglycemia and one taste was like “this tastes funny” and find out it has sucralose and find out that is the tech name for splenda and I hate splenda.. so yeah, sometimes something nasty gets past me.. I think it was that got the varivax shot and I asked them not to do that one but I missed it as I was looking for “chickenpox” and I signed off on it. Boy. I still kick myself over that. We haven’t vaxxed at all in 6 years and I have yet to regret that decision. Guest guest
Something to consider. One of my children gets ear infections from dairy - he's intolerant to it and consuming it gives him ear infections. If she's consuming dairy or is breastfeeding and you're consuming dairy, that could be a cause. Dairy can be really nasty for those who have an intolerance to it and it's a fairly common intolerance. For the record, this is a child that was formerly autistic, but recovered now and was fully vaccinated as a baby but is vaccinated no more. Hope the little one feels better soon! One was that the Autism was around since 1911.---- The history of autism goes as far back as 1911 with Eugen Bleuler a Swiss psychiatrist first coined the term. However that term applied to adult schizophrenia. There is a lot more information. I am just trying to find some answers. I have taken 2 of your courses. Guest guest
I second the recommendation to put expressed breastmilk in your daughter's ear. My unvaccinated 3 yr old daughter has had two ear infections. We caught it as soon as she complained (2nd time she was in tears). Just put in a few drops while she lied down and slept. Within 2 HOURS it was completely gone, both times. Every other kid I know, all vaccinated, get ear infections regularly and for days. Several end up getting tubes put in their ears. Your baby's body is currently getting the benefit of going through a building of the immune system as it fights against this ear infection as well. Hope some of this helps, - > > I just wanted to vent that my 15 month old daughter, who is > unvaccinated and breastfeed, has an ear infection. Guest guest
What I found was really odd is that my first child never displayed a fever or crankiness or rubbed near her ear and slept and nursed as all was well but at EVERY well baby visit I was tild she had an ear infection. At that time I used antibiotics but after rereading Mendelsohn's book I asked my family doc if the drug was necessary. he hesitantly replied no, I refused the script, and she never was diagnised with another one after that. Things that make you go Hmmm. LAurie
Guest guest
Hi Kim I am new here but felt compelled to mention this. I see a HUGE difference between my unvaxed 1yr old and my vaxed 12yr old. My daughter had earache after earache after earache until she was about 5yrs old. She cried all the time hours and hours. She has learning disabilities and was diagnosed with ADD. Not so much bounce in your chair and not pay attention ADHD but still learning to read at 12yrs old ADD. She use to be on meds for this but it changed her personality so much that we had to stop (among may other reasons). She still receives 8hrs of tutoring a week just to keep up with her Special Ed classes. I do have to say though the more I read about Autism the more I realize she fits into that category. She also still catches a cold at the drop of a hat. My son is unvaxed and has had 1 cold in 15months and this is with the countless numbers of illnesses my daughter brings home to us from school. But this is not what changed my mind completely. I have a family member, almost 3yrs old that was developing normally until vaxes @ about 16mo. Talking fine before vaxes and then just stopped trying. Now after speech therapy he does have some words. He also is very extreme. His behavior is off the charts, many times uncontrollable. Could it be Autism? The doctors say maybe. I don't know but I don't think I want to take a chance. He also is always sick. I'm just a mom who has made observations. I read as much as I can on the subject, but by no means pretend to be an expert. I know logically that the shots are damaging our children. But also being a mom I know the turmoil you must be in. I don't want to believe what has happened to my daughter has anything to do with the vaxes I allowed her to have. I was raised to believe that you protect your children. Part of protecting them is going in to see the doctor and getting their shots on time, then you go home and take care of your feverish crying baby because thats what your suppose to do. I now feel that it's too much of a risk. I pray I have made the right decision, after all I have to have faith that my childrens bodies were designed to protect themselves from illness, but what chance do they have when we are injecting it right into them? Just a Mom > > I just wanted to vent that my 15 month old daughter, who is > unvaccinated and breastfeed, has an ear infection. Guest guest
Hi Kim, This astonishes me, to be honest. I have never yet known a child with an ear infection who was not in pain, even if only mild. Mostly a child with an ear infection will be screaming with pain. I'm sure you would have known about it. Guest guest
Kim, I know how these niggling doubts can get to you. I personally see the differences. Up until four years ago my oldest was fully vaxed. My next son til his third set. My daughter not at all. The difference in us was amazing. The rest of us could be floored for days by a bug. She'd maybe throw up once and take a long nap. When I divorced my husband he went and had them vaccinated then went for custody. She's never been the same. I can only be glad her immune system had a least that much time to develop. She catches everything that runs through school and has chronic ear infections. My twins are ten months old. They are completely non-vaxed. It really does help me to watch them. But I get those worries too. They don't seem to catch almost anything their brother and sister bring home from school. If they do it's like she used to be, a little extra sleep is about all it takes. I however have several nephews in the VAX stages. At first my sister would tell me, so that I could keep the twins away if I chose. Then she got tired of my predictions being right. Her son and her nephew always manifest subclinically very predictably. I'm not sure if that's the over-all immunity of the household (sister in law lives with them and none of the kids are in school yet. Only BIL works out of the home) or just a coincidence. My sons do the same with the same predicability every time they've been exposed to them. Their immune systems obviously seem to fight it better but it also makes me wonder. I'd asked a while back and I'm still wondering. It's not that I'm lazy, I've done many, many hours of research during my divorce so I feel I've made an informed decision but I'd still like to feel more secure about whether they're gaining adequate immunity in this manner. I'd like to hear any resources you all have. I'd also be interested in anything anecdotal as I know " proof " is going to be pretty thin on the ground out there. I look forward to hearing from anyone who doesn't mind sharing. Nora
Guest guest
Not vaxing, does not equal not getting sick. My unvaxed daughter has probably been sick more than my vaxed son was, but she deals very well with the little colds and other things she has had. Every person has a different constitution, so they may have different triggers that cause them to get sick. Like with my daughter, it seems like anytime she gets into a pool that is a bit too cold, she ends up sick with a mild cold. Some kids (maybe more than we know), get sick because of a certain foods like dairy. There are just an unlimited number of reasons that different people get sick, and of course, vaccines are one of the reasons for some children. Of course, if my daughter got an ear infection, I would be equally frustrated. And actually, she could have easily already had one, but I have never taken her to a doctor when she was sick, so I have never been told that she had on. If she did have one, it healed on its own without my knowledge. Tara
Guest guest
And I would also say, that not getting sick does not mean a person is healthy Many are too ill on a deep level to 'get acute illnesses'. For example those with very deep mental/emotional illness often do not get physical illnesses. From a homeopathic perspective, the person is too ill and can't mount the energy to produce symptoms of an acute illness Hope that helps And again what appears to be redness of eardrum, or fluid behind the eardrum, does NOT mean an ear infection If a child/baby has been crying the eardrum will be red too. Guest guest
Sue- The doctor showed me the redness in her ear with the instrument (I don't know the name). He said he could write me a prescription and I said I don't want it if I don't need it. Guest guest
You could give some herbs, vit c,and/or homeopathics to help the body along.Could be food allergy related that led to swelling, which increased fluid, and might lead to an infection. In the healthy child section here:http://www.healthy.net/scr/center.asp?centerid=4 click on ear infections and read through the articles. The Janet Zand one can be useful.Well really they all can be! My kiddos are 5 and 8 and we have yet to get a script for ear infections.Dd did have ear aches a few times, but that passed. sara Yard and Animals: http://s174.photobucket.com/albums/w106/mattemma06/ and also: http://picasaweb.google.com/mattemma06 --------------------------------- Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell.
