B12 is so easily absorbed, they must have had a reason for giving it

IV, probably because the reticulocytosis would use up your B12

quickly and they wanted you to be plumb full of B12.

Maybe because the vein was open and they were giving anyway?

The doc I'm seeing on Feb 11th does this proceedure or the one where they

use heat to burn the endometrium. My step sis had it done 4 months ago and she

says it has helped her. It also is the proceedure that the doc told me 3 yrs

ago that if things didn't get better he'd do, then he retired and left me with

the idiot who did a pelvic but didn't bother to do my pap smear at the same

time. I'm gonna ask specifically about the ablasion. I mean if I'm already fixed

and don't plan to have any kids why not do it and see if it makes a

difference. I don't see where it could hurt? And it may just fix a lot of it.

Vicki,

I have always been iron Def. Anemia to a small extent. The RNY caused me

to have a syndrome that can be pre cancerous and is usually only seen in older

men. It causes loss of B12 and Loss of protein. It also affected the way Iron

was to be absorbed. Because b12 and iron is needed to make blood, I became

very anemic. Thus the IV iron infusions to give my body the raw materials it

needs to make blood.

Don't let this scare you because Dsers don't have the unused stomach

portion that caused it to begin with.

Wow...you must have been bloated!! I don't see where it was because the pic

Isn't it funny how you feel taller when you drop a few pounds? I hope I

don't rebound, but I'm trying to be good....I started my (Hopefully)...last

period and if I'm gonna drop that month that will be when it happens.

I am getting obsolutely horrified by my arms....Marta, I swear they are

dropping even more! I envision myself with a cape of human skin which of course

is my own arm skin....I guess I can look into work as a superhero...LOL. I

already have a cape and lose a little more weight and I''l be able to glide if

not fly in a hard wind....LOL.

BTW...Did Ann come back to your house or did she go to hers(I assume she

WAS discharged today)?

I know exactly what you mean about feeling different when you lose. I

feel taller...LOL. Maybe it's because I'm shrinking sideways so It makes me

appear taller. But I can feel my sides in the bed. I feel so many bones....

the only gripe is about every 10 lbs or so my back flares up really
