Good girl !!!! I didn't have a chance to do anything today, I've been so

busy. The next 2 days I'll be working on getting my house cleaned before Sat.

afternoon along with babysitting all day tomorrow. 's having a little B-day

party with a few of her school friends. So pray that I can get everything done.

leave Saturday morn for home BUT talk is we may have to leave tomorrow

gas stations here and in nearby cities are all out of gas and 's near

empty. My sister also found out she can't fly home so we will take her to

Nashville in one of our caravan of cars (Brother, baby sister, daughter and us)

I will not leave without so we are going to make a Plan B in case she

cant get gas tomorrow.

All and all it's been a great week beautiful weather, fun with all of my

sibs and their children .............. and now a quick departure if we get

thanks for your thoughts. All my family,friends and myself are safe.

One of the bombs was quite close to us, but fortunately not close enough.

My sons are bus drivers but again, fortunately, it was not on a route they

drive on. Things are very quiet here in London right now. There has been no

euphoria about gettiing the olympics as it was all shattered by the bombings.

They closed the school I teach in last night which I think was a little over

reation as the bombings were over by 10.00am. Terrorists wouldn't do

anything later in the day because of extra vigilance.

Anyway, I refuse to allow them to affect my life and I'm carrying on as

normal. I don't use public transport but I would if I had to. I have been

into

the city this morning and everything is much quieter than normal, but other

than that, life is continuing. Many underground trains are now running, buses

are back to normal.

Hello all, Phil from FL here I just wanted to chck in with everyone.Just had my 4 month checkup since my implant in May. Good news, myejection fraction went from about 30% to 56%. I'm psyched !(thanksTopril and Verapimil). I would hate to think i gave up booze andcoffee for nothing. No zaps, but i still have some bouts of A-fibthough. I dont know what the deal is. Going to see an EP at the end ofthe month. I think it is time to start doing a little cardio excersizeand light weights. Going to Cabo San Lucas next week to fish and layon the beach. and say I'm still here, too.

I hope the rest of the holiday season

is as enjoyable & stress-free as possible

for each of you.

For myself, now that I'm no longer a spring chicken, and under the

weather so much, I've found that simplifying things has made the holiday

season a lot easier to deal with. In fact, I enjoy it more. (Should've

tried that years ago!) We're all just happy to still have me around --

anything else is extra frosting on the cake. (But I still love to load

on the extra " frosting " every chance I get. Grandkids seem to bring that

out in us....!)
