This is a link to pictures of Amy Winehouse, whom some suspect has

the " cousin " , Morgellons. Click on the picture of her arm to enlarge

and you'll see several large scratches. They really are bigger and

more prominent than most get, but it will give you an idea:

Wow that was a crazy link, I wonder if its not a product of photo

shop......

As for the scratches, they are out of control long and dark and deep

looking....your right about your observation of them.

I have a tone of photos of my arms when I was getting them...I dont

know how to post it though....

Anyway back onto Amy Winehouse.....I have read about a connection

between morgellons and cocaine....and that its possible it may be

linked to its use....and from drug abussers also spreads to the

general population......I mean you often hear about people on Meth

that feel like things are crawling and biting them, and they also

often have sores.....makes me wonder......

There are a lot of meth users here in Idaho....I have seen a lot of

people walking around covered in sores too.....perhaps its because I

look now.....

HOw are you doing anyway Bessie friend? Hope things are rolling

along well at your end....I heard you mention in a post that you

felt a bit crawly one day.....are you still doing OK?

Hi, Z!!

That went on for 2 days, VERY minor - wouldn't have paid attention to

it in " the old days " . Then it occured to me that it MIGHT

be " normal " for rainy hot FL, that there might actually be little

critters of one kind or another. So after pulling everything off the

mattress, I sprayed Orange Guard on the bed, then put the newly

laundered bedding over it. I even sprayed my pillow, but it smelled

so I washed it the following day.

It took care of the little problem! It's so hard to distinguish

normal from this weird stuff!

Amy Winehouse is a notorious druggie not expected to live long

because of the damage she has done to her lungs from smoking crack.

Her publicist says her facial lesions are impetigo, but no comment on

the scratches. The pictures are real - there are others if you surf

the net - poor thing is a train wreck. Many meth addicts have self-

inflicted sores from scratching at the " meth bugs " . Unlike ours,

THEIR'S are delusional....never thought I'd say something like that!!!

Bessie'

So glad to hear you just had that for a couple of days....I need to

look into some orange oil....I'd like to treat my environment with

something once a month or so.....I tried spraying epsome salt and

baking soda around.....a bit too messy when its just a maintance

thing.....anyway I am SO glad you are not suffering a relaps from

the creepy 'mites'.

Wow, so those are real pics of Amy winehouse, well it looks a bit

suspect to me, like she may just have this thing.

Thanks for the 'meth bugs' explanation.....gosh, that in and of

itself would be enough to make a person fight drug addiction you

would think......I have always thought it would be so wonderful if

this were a dillusion....we should have been so lucky!

hugs

zmooks,

The Orange Guard is a good non-toxic insecticide product, but it

leaves a somewhat sticky residue. It is, however, cheaper than Best

Yet, at $35 per gallon. I use it in and around my drains.

Thanks trulyblest and everyone else who shared their suggestions. Here is an update of my results. -The CO2 treatment to the cars worked like a charm! I am no longer bit in our cars! We also did the POD with all our appliances, books, DVD's etc inside. Mike liked it so much he bought a regulator and tank that we can refill for $13 a shot whenever we need to do it again. -The house-baking didn't go as well because our house is 2500 sq ft and the generators kept turning themselves off. We got the front of the house and upstairs open portion to about 140 for an hour or two, but the back of the house never got above 110 and Mike said the bedrooms didn't get very hot. However I noticed a big difference with no biting in most areas, which counts a lot for me. I am vacuuming as much as I can to keep on top of them. -I love the oil treatment and the Pau Pau lotion on my skin because they stop the biting during the day. The latter seems to make the mites come to the top of the skin as dirt that I can rub off easily. I rubbed a lot of them out of my feet while the house was baking. I am not sure they are dead, though, so I might be spreading them if I am not careful where I do that. -I am still bothered by crawling and biting when I go to bed. I have racked my brain to see what I am missing, but when we went to stay at a motel the night of the baking it became obvious. I am infested and carry them with me wherever I go. Even Mike felt the crawling when we shared a bed that night, although they are not biting him yet. The crawling was so bad last night, even after the Elimite and my other skin treatments. I didn't think the bleach and epsom salt therapy worked for me, but now I am willing to try again. Rita, if you would be so kind as to repeat the steps. I think I missed the Dawn pre-step when I tried it. -The Aquaphor works great to catch them in my nose (but it is so gross to see them in the mornings) however the mites in my ears became much worse and I had bunches of patches of black spots on my pillows and a splitting headache. I tried dipping cotton balls in isopropyl alcohol and putting them in my ears late last night and I felt much beter and the headache went away. I hope that doesn't do long term damage to my ears. What is the 10% b.. solution that has been mentioned for ears? -I am still doing the garlic pills and Paragone cleanse, but I think it is the teaspoons of salt that are really cleaning me out inside and making me run to the bathroom so often. I do think this is essential though and changing my internal ph, to keep me from catching them back once I get rid of this. All in all, life is pretty great during the days but hell at night. Hope this information helps others. Worked for me. :)The Aquaphor is not mentholated. That's where the Listerine comes in.First...Try rinsing out your sinuses with a saline solution or saline nasal spray. Then w/a q-tip, swab the inside of your nose with the Aquaphor. Then gargle with Listerine. Repeat this 2 or 3 X a day. You can also take a syringe w/o the needle attached, put warm water in it to flush out your ears. My Dr. showed me how to do that. Simple... and It felt pretty good. Just be sure to tilt your head so that all of the water drains out. Then apply the Aquaphor. Don't put the Aquaphor down in the ear too far. Apply just enough "goo" so that the devils will get caught in it either by exit or entrance. Rinse out the eyes with any type of eye drops. Frito recommends Visine, while I had my best luck using Thera Tears. Rita used bleach to get them off of her eyelashes. Rinse. (I wasn't brave enough to try that!) Then slather the "goo" around the eyes. Whatever you do... DON'T STOP doing this. Keep at it. I had to do this for months before we finally whipped them! Of course we modified the poducts used. When we first came down with this, Vasoline was the only thing I could think of. Then suggested Aquaphor... turned out it 'tis a much better product!! I also kept a bottle of liquid hand sanitizer handy at all times and if I felt them on my scalp, I would put a couple of squirts on my fingertips and massage it in. Worked like a charm. Stopped 'em dead. I also used the Licemeister comb to massage my scalp after I washed my hair. This pulled out alot of stuff so that I could treat the bites that I used to have. For those I put Neosporin directly on the bites for a few days as well. How are the oils working for pulling the black specs off of your body? Still having success? Have you tried the Epsom salts on your skin yet? Some folks have had great success using the salts. Is the cleanse you're on working? Let us know how you're really doing overall...Hugs! :)

Hi Pamela,

I'm glad you're doing better and that the paw paw helps. I have even kept the paw paw on my skin where I feel the itching all night.

Pamela. You may have already read this, but what helped me was buying the twin size air mattress from the camping section in Walmart for $10. I just rinse it every day in the tub with the water hose thing. It takes no time at all. Even though I put 2 vinyl covers on my mattress and 2 on my box springs, I was still getting bit up in bed. I used to bleach/water the vinyl covers every day, too. It was awful. So, I haven't used a real bed in over a year now. The air mattress is not that comfortable, but it is better than getting bites all night and morning.I'm glad the co2 worked for you in the car. That is good news. I am using co2 for my phones, too, and my laptop, just using big hefty zip bags.MelFrom: "trlyblest" <trlyblest (DOT) com>bird mitesSubject: Re: Pamela - Help for hair, nose and ears?Date: Tue, 15 Jul 2008 20:14:06 -0000

The first time we heated up our house we didnt reach the right temp

either....I also noticed an improvement anyway.....

So do you think you will do it again, a week apart? Are you using

propane tanks? when you said the generator kept switching

off.....what does that mean?

I know if you use too small of a propane tank they will freeze up on

you as the pressure drops too rapidly. The right equipment is KEY, we

brought our own propane tanks and they were too weak, we should have

just rented everything right from the start.

Anyway I just wanted to tell you that I felt the biting while I was

away from the house heat treating too.....but eventually you will

catch up with those ones too.....we used rays protocol of ivermectin

internal, and listerine showers....it sounds like you are doing ritas

protocol again, which will do the trick too....to get them off your

body.

Just wanted to encourage you a little by letting you know that we

didnt reach the right temp first time around (trial and error really)

I felt the biting while we were away from the house, just like you

and we did notice improvement after the first time and the improvement

only got longer lasting with perfection of the heating and working to

get them off of us. Its a struggle, but you may just be a lot closer

than you realise. It only took 3 times for the mites to be gone for

us....and the first time was a bit of a flop too.

Z, Thanks so much for your encouragement. Mike wasn't planning to rent them again; he thought we could control it by vacuuming since we don't have carpet, and by doing CO2 treatments of computers, books, and papers in our cars. Did you have carpet?Do you think it's important to do it again? It was nice to hear your update Joy, I missed hearing about , and all the

wise advice you would give us :-)    Glad she is doing well, my Olivia is

Hi all

Long time no post. :)

Life can be pretty busy around here. ANyway we have

decided to have continue in her current school

setting for at least another 2 or 3 yrs. She can go up

until she is 21, and evidently can finish out the school

year the year she turns 21 so we still have time to make

some decisions on what to do following school. At this

time there are no group homes around here that have staff

who use ASL. (she does speak but for communicatin with

those who don't understand her sign works much better

since she has very limited verbal language). We are

thinking of possible placement in a home in the city that

she currently attends school in since they do have the

states deaf school so have a large deaf population, thus

would also have the communication support needed.

She is still attends MSAD as a residential student during

the school year, going up on Monday morning and returning

friday after noon. This works well for us. IT was of

course a very hard decision to make but she really is very

happy with her life there. It's funny cause when we do

take her up she really doesn't want us tohang around to

long. (an independent thing ya know.lol)

She attended prom this year and had a blast. Her and her

date did return to the dorm early, by that I mean they

didn't stay at the rec center til 4 am but returned a

couple hrs before that. I will try to remember to post a

pic. of her all dressed up. It will be just her tho.

Last school year she worked at Bostons (a pizza place I

guess) wrapping the silverware. She also continued to

help with the recycling for school. Most of the kids in

her class (called the NEST) like to do the shredding so

it's a popular job. They also continued to make bird

houses to sell as fund raisers.

This summer she attended the summer program and continues

to ride motorcycle with us. Up until the beginning of

July she still only rode with her Dad on his old Venture.

I never took her because I don't take passenegers on two

wheels. :) In July we finally bit the bullet and bought a

three wheeled motorcycle. It's something I've been trying

to get her dad to get for about 3 yrs now. She loves it.

She can also take a nap back there and we don't have to

worry about her falling off. I have also been doing all

the driving on this recently, mostly cause I broke my

thumb at work and it's easier to ride the Trike, so hubby

has finally got to ride his own bike alot for the first

time in about 4 yrs. :)

just had her physical and is doing great. She does

have an upcoming echo and eye exam and then we are through

for the year. She will continue on her thyroid meds, just

waiting to hear if the dosage needs to be changed.

That's about it. She does enjoy her nieces and nephew.

Cailyn just turned 3 yrs old and Mackenzie and Cameron

are now 7 months old so beginning to be alot of fun. :)

Hope all are meeting their challenges and enjoying life.

Frito,Were you tested from Igenex?Did u see a lyme dr? Are you gonna start treatmnent?F. Update

I haven't been posting much, but I do have an update. I have finally gotten a hold of my WB results in which would seem to be a positive for Lyme. I was not tested for co-infections but I and especially my son have every skin symptom associated with Bartonella. The striations, the red dots in linear lines, freckle appearance, mole appearance, etc. So from bird mites to this.....Best to all......Frito

I was actually tested as a favor to me by one of my physicians and good friend in which I worked for. It was through Labcorp and from what I understand, if LabCorp can pick it up, in which they usually don't, then it is pretty much a good indicator of a positive. Because the testing was a favor to me, I was not tested for co-infections, but as I said earlier, my son and I have just about every skin manifestation of Bartonella. I am unable to see a Lyme doc so I am relegated to treat this on my own, and yes, I have been treating.....Frito

how the entire ordeal began in the first place) Still no mites, but

I have a feeling there is still much work to be done....thanks for

listing out those symptoms as they are identical to ours and now I

can go do a good search of the internet

thanks!!!

finally gotten a hold of my WB results in which would seem to be a

positive for Lyme. I was not tested for co-infections but I and

especially my son have every skin symptom associated with

Bartonella. The striations, the red dots in linear lines, freckle

appearance, mole appearance, etc. So from bird mites to

this.....Best to all......Frito

Hi Z....

I actually thought about you and a few others here. I posted to the forum because I believe it is important for some of us to realize there may very well be more than just birdmites going on. I have a lot of research I have worked on, I could forward it to you if you would like it, or anybody else if they are interested. Send me a p.m. and I will add you to my list. Z, there is a source I would like to recommend to you and is absolutely indespensible concerning bartonella. It is a book by Dr. Schaller titled Bartonella: Diagnosis and Treatment. For Bartonella concerns, it is the best 35.00 I have ever spent. You can get it at the PubMed website. Many blessings to all.......Frito

Good Frito, Shaller is one of the best lyme dr and co infections. For sure, bartonella is is these mites, but probably lyme and other infections too, as i have. But i know and understand u can't all afford the tests and lyme treatment. So the herbs that Shaller advice can be a good alternative. Re: Update
