I get nasty headaches from yeast, and antibiotics do tend to cause

yeast problems.

I also get headaches from high phenols, especially milk and

artificials like dyes and nitrates.

Rima,

I agree with Dana. Also, if you are where the ragweed is in bloom,

it's really bad right now for airborne allergies, worst than most

years from what I understand. Some people get sinus headaches from

allergies.

Hope you figure out the problem soon.

I always get a dull headache about 3-4 days after methotrexate..I also get a

headache if my neck, shoulders and clavicle are particularly bad that day. If

the flare is mainly in the lower extremeties as you describe I dont. Good luck

on narrowing down the cause.

I was wondering if anyone experiences headaches when they are having a

bad day of aches and fatique. I got up this morning my legs, hands,

feet (including the one the has the fracture) are swollen and very

painful I hurt too move but I also have a headache that won't go away

don't know if it could be associated with this or something else.

Thanks for everything.

More than likely it is, if the dmps is in TD form it will cross into

your skin when you wash the glass. Perhaps use something you can just

throw out, w/o ever touching it? You can buy box of gloves at any

Costco or hardware store.

It could be the DMPS. But also consider that if it is the DMPS, then

it could be yeast, because chelation generally tends to aggravate

yeast. I get massive headaches when I have yeast in my head. I use

GSE to eliminate them. So basically, try something to eliminate

yeast, see if that helps.

I'm having the same experience now that I'm back to chelating myself.

Charcoal an hour after the GSE helps too.

Leyna,

Yep, I suffered from the one-sided headache as well, with blurry

vision, and mine was on the left side - every single day for many

months. They finally went away a few months ago, which was probably

about 6 months after explant. My gynecologist also believed that

implants were bad news (he's since retired, which broke my heart).

I've made a believer out of my psychologist, and a holistic doctor

as well (whose mother had implants and suffered from immune illness,

but the holistic doctor never put two and two together until I came

to see her).

If the headaches turn out not to be implant related, it is possible that

they are hormone driven. As hormones become out of balance, it can cause

one-sided migraines.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking too. I've got all the other symptoms

of too little estrogen....crying spells, can't sleep, extreme

anxiety, heat flashes. I had my hormones checked yesterday-can't

wait to find the results. lol

Leyna, The hospital may still have your records . . . they would have sent your attorney COPIES . .. not the originals . . . Still, implant records have a way of disappearing. I think insurance companies are better about paying now than they used to be . . . You may have to fight them a bit - but if you're locked into them for the long haul, they know it's cheaper to get the implants out! The clause that's the killer when they won't pay for "complications of cosmetic surgery". Hugs, Rogene

yes - I do - everyday... it has been going on for years....

have you had your thyroid checked lately? the fullness and choking feeling may be due to an enlargement... mine was checked and a growth was found. as far as the headaches... they started the same way - neck pain and stiffness - more on the left than the right side and headache pain is severe and starts in the neck and bottom of the head and ends up at my temples ad behind my eyes... I have found this to be fairly common with women I have met with implant illnesses. I have very stiff muscles in my shoulder/neck areas... massages help for a few days - the person doing it always bring this up as if it feels like I have been in a bad accident or had back surgery. they say it feels "crunchy and stiff" like there is scar tissue in there - I am guessing it is capsule and shell pieces that have worked their way around.

I haven't found much in the way of meds that has helped -acupuncture has helped as well and most recently I have been getting nerve block injections in my greater occipital nerve in my head - at the base of my skull that seems to be helping... not a very fun procedure though...

Shari . . . According to my massage therapist that crunchy stuff is deposits of calcium . . . resulting from scar tissue . . . The neurologist told me that when a muscle gets extremely tight, it cuts off the blood supply to some of the muscle. Bits of the muscle die and calcify . . . Those little bits of calcium are sharp and painful. Massage is really the only way I know of to get it out . . . but it takes persistent deep (painful) massage. . . I was able to stop taking muscle relaxers and pain killers once I started doing massage regularly . . . I still get a deep massage every two weeks. Any longer, and I can tell a difference. I'm fortunate to have a wonderful therapist who is very reasonably priced. . . . Some massage therapists will give clients a price break if they work out a regular schedule. Would your husband be willing to learn enough massage therapy to work

on you several times a week? . . . Love, Rogene

Actually he does do neck massages for me all the time - otherwise I would be like a board...if I go more than a few days my neck and shoulders are like rocks... probably thanks to my open double capsulectomy and/or rupture replacement in 1/97 and 4/99... I wonder if that creep left all the scar tissue in there in 97? all of the headaches and stiffness started within a few months after that operation... I had the aug. in 4/96... the capsulectomy in 1/97...

The rupture overnite of my left implant was in 4/99 that required replacement.... it was around this time that I really started having the bad headaches and stiffness in my neck then it migrated into shoulder area... I started getting massages thinking it was stress as my job was stressful and we were trying to have a baby and having difficulty there....

I chalked it up to stress and after Logan was born things got much worse then I saw specialists who started mentioning the muscle rigidity in my neck and shoulders - did Mri's of my neck and back and couldn't figure it out... found out that the left side was in spasm all the time but didn't know why.. I took relaxers which helped a little then I saw the pain doc who brought up the implants and possibility of scar tissue from the surgeries... then I was on my was to explant and now I am here.... once he said that I got online, found the group, saw all the stories that were just like mine, then I made my appt... the rest is history...

I am sure it is scar tissue and the only surgeries I have had other than my sinuses is my breasts... it has to be that as there are no other choices....
