Guest guest
JoAnn, Thanks so much for your reply. I'm going to finish out the tests I have, in June, and then see what the recommendations are. I have been thinking about sending my records to the Mayo Clinic in sdale, Arizona, once I have everything. The thought of having a major surgery out of town really scares me, but I will consider it. I have the option of changing my insurance each year, so I'll look carefully at providers at the end of this year. My doctor here says she does the surgery, and she did her fellowship at Chapill Hill, NC. I'll need to ask her more questions about her experience. I appreciate you allowing me to call you and I'll definitely do that. I need to also look at the website you recommended. If you're ever in Albuquerque, I owe you lunch! I'll be sure and let you know when I'm going to call. Take Care! > > --, > > Glad to help out. In the 2 1/2 years I was treated for acid reflux with medication. Guest guest
-Hi Tonia, I can honestly say I feel better than I have in quite some time. People at work have come up to me and said that they had been worried about me because I wasn't as peppy as I used to be and have told me how nice it is to have me back to my own self. Funny part is I didn't realize that I wasn't doing fine. I can remember thinking before my surgery that I wasn't bad enough to justify surgery and thinking that perhaps I should try living with it until it got worse. How glad I am for this group! I'm pretty much eating everything I want sometimes needing water to get it down and I'm sleeping all night. I am also glad to say that I haven't had the weight gain that has had. I'm a littler lighter than before surgery but was acturally a little heavier than normal before surgery. I go for my post op in June but feel everything will be fine.
