Guest guest
Thanks, but now I am even more curious. What does the A stand for? Re: New Member No one is laughing at you Hilda. GA stands for the state in the United States called Georgia. It just north of Florida on the Southern East Coast of the US
Guest guest
Gee thanks. I found that very interesting. Re: New Member Hilda Vosloo wrote: > Thanks, but now I am even more curious. What does the A stand for? All states now have a two letter designator - probably so they could standardize how people were shortening it (i.e. California to Cali, Calif) pretty hard to figure for the sorters - either that or for data entry and saving space with the advent of computers (not sure of the actual driving force behind it) anyway .. they are as follows: AK Alaska NY New York AL Alabama KS Kansas OH Ohio AR Arkansas KY Kentucky OK Oklahoma LA Louisiana OR Oregon AZ Arizona MA Massachusetts PA Pennsylvania CA California MD land ME Maine CO Colorado RI Rhode Island CT Connecticut MI Michigan SC South Carolina DC District of Columbia MN Minnesota SD South Dakota DE Delaware MO Missouri TN Tennessee TX Texas FL Florida UT Utah MS Mississippi VA Virginia GA Georgia MT Montana NC North Carolina VT Vermont HI Hawaii ND North Dakota WA Washington IA Iowa NE Nebraska WI Wisconsin ID Idaho NH New Hampshire IL Illinois NJ New Jersey WV West Virginia IN Indiana NM New Mexico WY Wyoming NV Nevada

Guest guest
Georgia is a Southern State in the US. And...we don't know that much about your country either, so no laughter!! Guest guest
I guess it is the last letter of GeorgiA. Another state Maine uses the letters ME (I know that as that is where my fiancée lives :-) Steve - Cheltenham, UK (United Kingdom) Hilda Vosloo wrote: >Thanks, but now I am even more curious. Guest guest
The A is the last letter in the word Georgia. GA are the initials for the state. Guest guest
Hello! I am a recent survivor of the other, unmentionable list. My name is (not to be confused with someone else farther west!). I've been on ER4YT for about 4-5 years now. I hope to find both old and new friends here. I have a question; my immune system doesn't appear to be functioning very well (I'm catching everything my 5-year-old grandson brings home from kindergarten), and I know I can't take echinacea; what can I take? Thanks for the advice, I don't eat a lot of fruit because with the grandkids, fruit in my house doesn't stand a chance! Richmond, Virginia Hi , good to see you here aswell ! I would say : eat a lot of 0-fruit, also the neutral ones with a lot of vitamins ,a lot of HB-veggies and ask Rhonda about homeopathic immunitiy-remedies . love
