Hi Tami,

Thanks for the welcome. To show you just how long I've been " lurking " ,

I remember when you started posting. If I remember correctly, it was in

December. You were skeptical about trying another exercise program because

I believe you said you had not had much luck with Body Flex. So many people

were raving about Life Lift, that you decided to give it a try. In a few

short months, look at where you are today. Congratulations on your success.

I was very saddened when I read the post that you had been hospitalized.

Then when I read another post that said you had insisted you wanted to use

your computer in the hospital, I figured you were either crazy or very

dedicated, LOL. All kidding aside, I think it's great the time and effort

you put into the list. I love reading your posts. They are very uplifting.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Sincerely,

Abby

Abby,

Wow, you have been lurking for a while! I'm so glad that you decided to come

out and show us all your beautiful colours! And what a memory. Well, it

sure is good to have you sharing with us and posting your thoughts on things.

I'm very happy that after lurking, you felt comfortable enough to join us in

our festivities and inch loss!

Sincerely,

Thanks Tami.

Today (April 11th) is my birthday and I am sitting here with a smile on

my face, feeling happy and blessed to have found such a great circle of new

friends. A few hours ago at work a friend of mine asked me how old I was

going to be. When I told her 39, she said she couldn't believe it. A few

months ago, she had seen me when I was heavier. Every time I see her now,

she tells me I look thinner and thinner. (What an ego booster!!) I told

her it's the Life Lift. I believe your birthday was March 17th. That's my

husband's birthday, too. I loved the pictures of you and your family.

Sincerely,

Abby

Hi Abby,

I am so glad you wrote this message to Tami. You see, I get to be the lucky one who follows the progress all the way through. This is why I get so excited and can't seem to go to bed at night anymore.LOL. I actually keep messages from the beginning stages when someone may write feeling pretty hopeless and then I get the pleasure of knowing that I was able to be a part of that incredible success as it comes. There is no amount of money on earth that could buy the feeling it gives me to watch incredible growth like I see here. I often get hundreds of messages daily off the lists when someone is really suffering from disappointment, fear and hopelessness, and even though sometimes it does feel a bit overwhelming to try to keep up with it all, the rewards are priceless.

Tami is a perfect example of what you can do if you just have some faith in yourself and in your dreams. All it takes is a little to start. Just enough to get you to try. It only takes one baby step each day to finally get you to the place you want to be.

I am really impressed that you are sensitive enough to pay attention to this and recognize Tami's incredible growth. She has taken what she has gained in her personal growth and is turning it into a tool to help make the world a better place. I think of all the things I love most it is seeing someone who has succeeded, use that success to help someone who is still struggling. That is how we earn the right to keep our gifts when they come. Every time you reach out your hands and help someone else, you are really helping yourself. You are building your feelings of self worth and therefore you will feel more worthy to keep your wonderful goals when you achieve them.

Take good care of yourself, and keep reaching for all of your dreams. You do deserve to have them.

Love,

Rashelle

Abby,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Don't you just love this day of the year?! You deserve to

be sitting there smiling because on this day, 39 years ago, an incredible

miracle occured, and along came Abby. Boy, we can thank the Lord that He was

generous enough to share you with us, and all those that find themselves that

is lucky enough to be near you today and everyday. I hope that your smile

last far beyond, continuing throughout the entire year. I have a feeling

that when you're smiling, a lot of other hearts are filled with joy also!

Sincerely,

Tami

Welcome to the group! Glad you decided to join us...don't ever feel

bad about talking about yourself! You'll see that we encourage brags

and will probably ask you a million questions about yourself....ha

ha! I'm sure you will love it here....this group is great about

giving tons of support and motivation! I am also a 29 year old stay

at home mom, but my little girl is only 16 months! I've been engaged

to her daddy for 3 years now. We were planning the wedding when I

found out I was pregnant and I already had my wedding dress, so we

decided to postpone the wedding until I could fit back into the dress

(which I can do now thanks to tae-bo...I just need to set a date and

get going....I dread planning the whole thing). Anyway, as far as

tape recommendations go....are you looking for another advanced tape

or do you want a basic tape? There is a really great website that a

girl who posts to the main tae-bo page made and she has reviews of

all the tapes. Her website is www.geocities.com/amy_newcomb_100 and

then you click on tape reviews. You might want to check that out or

tell us what you're looking for in a tape and we'll try to give you

suggestions!

Again, I'm really glad you decided to join us and that 's

question brought you out of hiding...LOL! You sound like a lot of us

here whose attitudes have really changed since starting tae-bo! I

look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi !!

So you are from LA??

I went to the tapings in Feb last weekend on Sat advanced..... and the 11th

of March....advanced also.

The I did the QVC tapings on the 18th. The 8:00 am shoot!! That was a

blast!!!

My friend from the Message Boards is sending me a tape that I was in because

I don't get TBTV :(

Just auto delivery.

I'm not to far away from Sherman Oaks but it's hard with a 3 yr old.

I've been doing Taebo for about 3 mths now but did the so-called " aerobic

kickboxing " before that.

My form is the best now because I'm learning from the best!!

I'm happy I found this place!! It's nice to chat about something that your

Welcome to the group! How long have you been doing tae-bo? Which

taping did you go to? Was it one of the recent ones in

February/March? A bunch of us from this group went to the tapings at

the end of February! If it was a recent taping...you're probably

going to be on tae-bo tv! Do you ever go to 's studio? Wow,

I'm just full of questions.....LOL! Anyway, I'm glad you joined our

group....you'll love it here!

Gloria,

Glad to hear you're getting in touch with your inner artist! It's

good for the soul to be connected with your passions. Good luck

keeping it going, and I hope we can see your work sometime.

Peace,

I wish my hubby would do it too but he just doesn't seem to care. He drinks

nothing but Coke all day and if he doesn't get at least one huge plateful of

pasta a day, he gets cranky. I'm going to trick him into doing some stuff

with me and since I'm the one who cooks, he'll at least eat good when he's

home! (too bad he insists on Macs or something for lunch and won't let

me make it too!)

Hi Melody,

My husband doesn't do it with me, either, but the funny thing is that he is

my biggest fan. He loves to tell people all about Body for Life, show my

pictures around, " coach " them on what they need to do, etc.! It would be

nice if he wanted to do it, too, but at least he's 100% supportive of me.

That's a BIG help.
