That's me too. To 'just get along', i write things down, so my plans don't

you, i think it is an organic problem. I've heard that glandular problems

might suggest looking into if ideas seem poorly distributed. But MY ideas

right to seek help there. I wish i could help you. It's been like that for

Wow Deb,

There's something i vaguely noticed, ADHD or whatever it's called, in adults,

then of course the thought went away before i got any momentum. Glad to be

reassured the diet will alleviate most of the problem. We (at least I)

relate strongly to cleaning the closet analogy, things sometimes do get worse

but then get better. Diet and nutrition in the mothers and children are

probably bringing this condition in so much these days. Back on the farm,

hard-working tv deprived children who consumed veggies and fresh air, ADHD

was not around i think. Anyway, i did recongnize the symptoms in myself, way

back when, but as i said, never got too far with being analyzed for it. So

far, medical treatment is not too enticing. The diet is my biggest hope.

Thanks, Ann. It's nice to know I'm not alone. Although I'm sorry that

you're having this problem, too. Maybe together we can find some answers. I

read everything I can get my hands on. What's frustrating is that some books

say to listen to your feelings while others say you should only make

decisions based on logical thinking. I believe you should find a balance

between the two--God gave us minds and emotions for a reason. Problem is,

whatever decision I make, I can make a convincing logical case for it, and

then my emotions change and I can see the logic in the other way. What to

do? If I find the answer, I will certainly share it with you.

Thanks again,

Have you been tested for ADD or ADHD. Usually children are diagnosed with

this attention deficit, but many adults such as myself have it too and one

of the symptoms are exactly as you describe. Indecision from day to day and

not being able to stay on task. Not sure if that is your problem, but it

is worth looking into.......by the way.....the diet cures it. So hang in

there kiddo.

Wheat and sugar are the main food culprits that short circuit the neurons

that carry,.... what ever they are called .....to the brain and allow us to

function properly. So hopefully you will see improvements with the diet.

Don't be surprised if at first things don't get worse. Its like cleaning

out your closet...the mess gets worse before it gets better.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if *I* have a thyroid problem! I always run a

low temp of around 96.8 to 97.3. I didn't know low temp was a hypothyroid

symptom. My doc has never said anything about it, but I did have a thyroid

test about a year ago and it showed normal.

Mine showed normal too. But once I started with the diet the temp rose

gradually every day. Now it is stabilized at 98.6. I am not as cold as I

use to be either.

I have come to the same conclusion as well. Mind and feelings work together.

You cannot have one without the other as when you have a thought there is

always a feeling attached to it. That is what creation is all about. To find

the answer go with your instinct on the decision. It is great to see both

sides of things and then you choose which one. Sherry

It sure did with me. Wheat makes me aggressive but there again I have an

allergy to it. Sometimes it made more than aggressive I lost it. I have

noticed a big difference since I have stopped eating wheat. That and dairy

together made feel very out of it like I was out of my body and woe betide

if anyone disturbed me. I used to get very vague on them both. And teary. I

think the vagueness was fear of not wanting to be here. I now feel

fantastic. Sherry

I have lost weight but I find the thing that puts weight on and keeps it

there is the carbo. I can eat very little carbo. even fruit. Bananas I react

to. I also have noticed my energy goes as well so now I eat basically just

meat and veg. or salad and every now and then I eat some carbo. such as

cooked millet for breakfast with soya or rice milk or apple.etc. I have

given up on eating cakes. Sherry

between the two--God gave us minds and emotions for a reason. Problem is,

whatever decision I make, I can make a convincing logical case for it, and

then my emotions change and I can see the logic in the other way. What to

do? If I find the answer, I will certainly share it with you. >>

Hi ,

Just to throw in another thought. Sounds like a Libra influence here.

Astrology has a lot to do with how you feel and how others see you. First of

all at least get off of wheat, corn and dairy. The first two will put me in

a lethargic daze when I fall off the wagon and forget what I know is best for

me. The latter seems to give me terrible indigestion with gas and bloating.

Sure hard to be enthusiastic when the three evil foods are coursing through

your body. Now as to the astrology. I only dabble a bit. I am a Capricorn.

Should be a hard worker, never give up kind of person. True, but not with a

tummy full of pasta. It sucks the energy right out of me. I have my moon

(means emotions and how you FEEL about something) in Libra. The scales are

the sign in Libra. Balance, seeing both sides of an issue. That is not

always a bad thing. But when I am feeling lethargic, sleepy and totally

lacking in energy it does not make my life easy. However when I am on track,

and eating properly, it does give me a clear picture of both sides of an

issue. And it does help me to realize that many times either way will work.

If you have a sun or moon in Libra, (October) maybe you tend to be more aware

of both sides of a problem by your nature. Now if you can just get you body

in gear, you may become a diplomat! :>). Unless of course you have a

Capricorn influence, which can also make you outspoken and hardheaded, (or so

my friends tell me!) LOL. Good luck to you and you may as well as corn to

your list now. The sooner you get it out of your system, the better you will

feel. It is simply amazing how much those three foods can make a difference.

You could try reading a book called beyond and within by Shi Chinmoy. Here

the dimensions of the human mind are explained. What you are experiencing is

perfectly normal. You need to get more in touch with the inner you, your

heart room.

in NZ.
