Night before last I took 3 Advil and 3 Sudafed and was wired until 2am like

I had 5 cups of coffee! My earache went away though. :)

Hopefully this is my 3rd and final day home with a sick kid. I think Vonn

will be able to go to preschool tomorrow.

Good! We are important! Our husbands just need to adjust. :)

There is no middle ground with my husband either. I eat normal and do

nothing and he complains that I'm eating too much and I need to do

more. I exercise and I watch what I eat carefully and he complains

about my doing too much and having to buy and fix (he does 90% of our

cooking) too many specialized items. I hate it. I feel like I can

never do anything right with him.

Hi Jana,

Wow! Can I relate to this! My husband always made belittling

comments about how fat I was. I went from over 320 and got down to 155

and my husband constantly complained about how much I exercised.

Complained because I had to exercise everyday, why can't I take a few

days off, etc. Complained because we did'nt have sweets & candy in

the house and was telling our family & friends that I was starving

him. Its not like it would hurt him to loose a little anyway, he gained

about 40 pounds since we got married (15 years ago). When I noticed I

was starting to gain back about 10 pounds and went to weight watchers

to try to get it under control he complained that I did'nt need to be

going to weight watchers. Here we are 7 years later and I have gained

just about all of it back and am GOING to loose it all again. Only

difference is he is no longer in my life. Keep up the great work! Jill

If he is like my husband you need to get it in writing! LOL...

Hopefully he has learned his lesson.

What is it with hubbies who complain when we do things to better ourselves? Mine is always trying to get me to eat fattening foods.

How often/long do you work out? Is it interfering with your daily life's activities? A half hour to an hour a day is more than enough.

> or take them bike riding and > hoping the wheel dont pop.

You can get a bike now to fit you at your current weight. Just ask in any bike shop what they have available. If it's too pricey, you can always look for a used one, hit garage sales, or look for one on a local Freecycle list.

I workout to richar in the mornings for 35 minutes then I walk to get the kids from school which is a half hour.

My husband bought me a bike for my birthday 2 years ago it is a mongoose that is made of aluminum with shocks. He thinks my workout should be on him and that is it. Oh yeah and when it gets warm I would take the kids and him on a bike ride so I would include him on some of my activities, but he would also get upset if he wanted to go some where and I had to workout first but I have to,, to be healthy, jana

So why is he complaining? Is he even home when you do all this so you're

taking away time from being with him?

>Oh yeah and when it gets warm I would take the kids and him on a bike ride

Well, I can see that.

If you knew you had to go out, you could plan to do the workout at some

other time, but if he sprung leaving the house on you at the last minute, if

he can't wait let him go without you!

Subject: Weigh In

I am using Saturday mornings as my weigh in day. Well

I hopped on

the scales for the first time in over a

week and was

happy to see I lost 2 pounds. Probably

most of it

was water loss since I've been pumping so

much fluids

in me. Still it was nice to record a loss

in FitDay.

that is fabulous about the 1.2 lbs loss! Every little bit helps

us getting closer and closer to our goals. Hope your children feel

better soon. My kids have been all through it the past couple of weeks.

Abby Liz's birthday is just a couple days after mine and she is two

years younger than my son.

Anne is about the same age as my daughter Elaina Anne (same first

initial and middle name - how neat is that).

Take care and keep up the great work!

1.2 lbs. We are going in the right direction. Have had a house of

sick kids the last few days. We have disney on ice tomorrow night so I

am hoping they recover by then. Abby is going to the movies today. So

gotta catch up on my journalling and house cleaning. She got to go to

the state house yesterday which was great fun. I did not get to go BUT

thankfully the other mom brought her camera and is getting me copies.

Great news, Cherlyn!

Unfortunately, I know how you feel. After a week of very low calories and

tons of stress, I'm back to 270.5. The last time I was this low for more

than a day or 2 was back in 2003.

Tammy that is great glad for your lost. How fast did you lose your 100lbs? What kinds of foods did you eat? Again that is a great loss.

Weigh in

Last week was so so. I started up jogging with walking intervals. I did this about 5 years ago and I dropped 100 lbs rather quickly. I didn't expect a loss, but I did lose 3.8 lbs which brings me to 304.2. YEAH!!!Tammy100-Plus Files page 100-plus/files100-Plus Links page 100-plus/links

Hi !!

I lost it in about 6 - 8 months. I ate alot of salads and

fruit...lots of water, lean protein like chicken and fish. I allowed

myself one free day too. No soda and limited processed foods.
