Sometimes with allergies it's not a single thing they are allergic to. It was explained to me one time that it's like a cup. You fill it with one thing to overflowing and they are allergic to that. You fill it part way with that thing and they're not--until you add in pollen, a cat and ice cream. All of a sudden they're allergic to ice cream, or cats. Or the cup is overflowing but the response is not to any one thing, but the combo. Seems kind of odd the way I explained it...

Maybe it's not allergies. Maybe it's just her body clearing out the junk. This is a good thing. I'm going through it myself--sick with a cold from eating too much sugar, bad Mommy.

I did what you are doing for my son, probably not as good as you are with diet. We kept out milk, oranges, corn--biggies for him. We used an herbal tincture from our naturopath for the asthma and quercetin every day. And time. It took time, a few years.

Keep the adenoids. They are serving a purpose. If they go, what will step in to help her?

Thanks Winnie! Say, I did have to take an IV of penicillian during her birth because I was diagnosed with Strep B. I was disapointed at the time that I could not have the totally drug free birth I had wanted and it is possible that dose did begin our saga only for it to manifest after being vaccinized. ( How very funny for me to then move to S. Africa, give birth to my second child and have my OB/GYN shrug and say that strep B transmitted to a newborn is EXTREMELY rare and that I don't need any anti-biotic!) had no other exposure to any pharmaseudical prior to vaccination. Well done to your 'Big Will' that makes me smile very, very big. (-: Thanks for mentioning that anti-biotics can mask the problem. I also experienced failure to grow in my youngest after being on antibiotics for repeated "infections." I worried for years he would be puny, and I had three older boys to compare him to. Happily, he is now known as "Big Will" by all his coaches! Keep in mind that antibiotics tell the body to stop having symptoms, that they will take care of whatever it is, including if it's only allergies. It then looks as if they're cured, then boom. Thanks for asking! It's been on my mind especially after the course of Anti-biotics.

At one point it was recommended to give her (for 3 months) a tincture of Olive leaf, Wormwood, Cloves, and Ivy to rid bacteria, molds, fungi, virus. It also claims digestive benefits so it seemed like a good thing for her damaged gut. It actually improved her condition, but funny thing about this stuff is that she always seems to get sick after taking it (detox?). Since it has been nearly a year since the last dose, I had began again for only the maintenance dose- 10days on, 10 off, then 10 more days to rid of the nasties. She was on the "10 days off" when she got tonsillitis.

Do you think if She takes it again for 3 months, it is a bad idea?

the mix a 10% herbs in 20% ethanol with nothing else in the mix.
