The only time I have a BM is with the enema. With this fast I am taking in

no food, or anything convertible to sugar, so I am having no natural BM's.

If you follow Dr. Breuss's fast, which consists of juicing veggies, you will

have natural BM's since you are getting the nutrients from the veggies.

Zappers are small hand held battery driven devices that send an electrical

current through your body. The theory behind the zapper is that certain

frequencies kill off different parasites and bacteria in your body. I made

my zapper, and use it quite often. I feel so much better afterwards. you

can get patters on zappers, or get one made for you at the following site:

What are zappers? I've been doing a lot of research and have never heard of

them. Can you fill me in?

Hi

I'm new to the group, just joined today.

I'm hoping that by joining this help group I'm going to find a way

of controlling and beating this terrible condition which has made my

life hell.

I'm 33 years old and have been sufering for as long as I can

remember but over the last 4 or 5 years it has gradually worsened

with no help from prescription drugs or my GP who I'm sure is

convinced I'm a hypocondriac!

I've been sent for ultrasounds, laparoscopy's...the works and they

all come back as normal.

I've now got to the stage where I am getting recurring thrush every

6-8 weeks, my GP prescribes the usual pesarries, Diflocan tablets

(which my partner takes too) but it still comes back!

I've tried cutting out yeast products, I stopped drinking for 6

months, didnt eat bread, cut out sugar and it still came back!

I'm at my wits end now, I'm tired of being in pain, feeling sore and

bloated, tired, depressed, I have no sex drive now and at times I

have felt suicidal.

A friend thought I might be suffering from something like Irritable

bowel Syndrome and reading information on that condition pointed me

towards Candidiasis. I've read that this can spread to your gut,

bowel, joints etc and you end up with symptons very similar to IBS.

I've also been reading about various herbal products which I would

like to know if other people have used and whether they have had any

success?

Goldenseal root - this is available in my health store, I've seen it

recommended on several sites so I'm going to give it a try.

Threelac - I've been reading the most amazing testimony from a

couple who claim is has cured them...can this be true! Does anyone

know if it is available in the UK?

Sorry if I have waffled a bit but you can't imagine how pleased I am

to find I am not then only one going through this...I just hope this

is a means to an end.

Thanks

Celeste

Welcome Sue.....glad you are back. But I have a question, as a person who is full fledged Celiac, why haven't you gotten a firm dx for the Celiac. With my teeny tiny brain, it is my understanding that gluten intolerance is the same as Celiac. Just my own thinking, though.

Glad you are back. Now, there are several of us here with Celiac or symptoms...

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I was a part of this group a year or so ago and dropped off when my computer "dropped off". Along with AIH I am also gluten intolerant -- my first email I read from the group was about celiac diagnosis. My 26 year old daughter is a diagnosed celiac -- 5 years. I have been as gluten free as possible for three years. It's a long story why I don't call myself an official celiac...even though I am now a bit more sensitive to gluten than my daughter.

Also, I wanted to say hello to the Northwest group! I live just outside Portland.

For a week or two I have just been reading all of your messages, remembering how supportive and informative you are. I try really hard to stay positive -- but I have been going through a really bummed period (No --- I don't think it's all the rain -- I'm a born and bread Oregonian -- and still like the rain (well----mostly! I can hear all the groans now).

Maybe my downer had to do with being on a medical disability for two years and quietly (insistence by the disability insurance company) slipped into retirement. It may have been because my gastro upped my imuran...now on 100 mg. and 6.25 of prednisone. It may be just the AIH tiredness.

I'm trying to get a handle on my emotions. I enjoy reading all of your posts.

Dear Shari, my dan 18yo with AS, cannot handle the usual dentist. The main

complaint wasnt the trying to numb his gums with the needle but the taste was

too much to bear. I don't know if the sensory acuteness extends to taste but it

does in dans case. He now goes to a community dentist that has many kids with

special needs attending . They have more time and understanding. Dan eventually

had all his fillings under general anaesthetic. jo. d.

Hello everyone,

I am terrible about remembering everyone's names when I read these

not because I don't care, I just have memory lapses. has been

dx'd with AS and ADHD. I figured the two worked hand in hand.

's biggest problem I feel, is needing time to answer questions

she may have an answer, but can't get it out right away. The other

barrier is if she is given to many choices, she can't decide. The

ADHD probably totally messes with her thinking as far as making

choices, to many options and it scrambles her thoughts. I don't

suppose anyone else has tried Tenex? That is working really well with

the only side effect was drowsniess. ITA that with different

ages comes different aspects and chareteristics of this

disorder, has changed a great deal with in the last two years.

When some one becomes a teenager, the chemical changes brought on by

puberty, and who knows if this affects a child with AS more than

someone who is NT? I have a question too, does anyone know if there

is a test for hearing to see if an AS child is sensitive to sound?

One other question, has anyone had a problem when they took their

Aspie to the dentist and what did the dentist do to help them? The

dentist she has been to, won't see her again my ex would'nt give me

the details, but I figure she would'nt open her mouth or she may have

been screaming or she bit him. has sensory issues so, maybe

she could'nt deal well with the drill, because it tickles or maybe

the noise was too much any ideas or suggestions would be

apperciated.

Thank you to all Shari

True but there are many children dx'd with ASD who don't know how to play and

also don't know how to play with other children. These kids do need help

learning how to do these things.

Dear Fania, Dan used to sit in the middle of different toys and not have a clue

what they were for. For mums of younger children with AS the fisher price' post

the different shape man down a hole with slide'' is a good toy, also their

''garage'' , things sliding down and twirling were always hits for dan. Off

subject Fania; the guy pupporting to be saddam h on tv this morning at 5.30am

after the raid was definately a dopplegammer. I',m an artist and I paint and

draw people so I am good at studying faces. Wrong features. Could also be a

dopplegammer and a recording. Keep safe...Jo.d.

I agree. Also there are children with AS that have limited imagination, yes?

I think there are varying degrees of socialization for kids with ASD.....it

just depends on your child. Some need more help interacting while others may

need help in other areas. My son is just getting the jist of hide and

seek..... being with NT kids is fine and I think its needed, but he needs to

be around all kinds of kids..... He just doesn't understand a lot of the NT

kids games right now...

Helen,

Wraping text usually means having all the text show in the message without

having to scroll to read it. That is when there's a scroll bar across the

bottom of the window. I would click yes.

Yes. I got mine with local (just numb the belly) by DVI/Radiology Doctors.

They didn't want me to be put under because my lung stats are about as low as

they can go. They felt I wouldn't get off the vent. I was awake and had no

complications. Also, my jaw wont open wide so they placed the g-tube without

going down the mouth.

When they first said I needed a g-tube they said they couldn't but a year

later with other doctors they said it would be easy. So, I think who you asks

and the procedure matters. There are at least three was to place a g-tube.

Dear , I just looked at a few web sites re Omegasentials. I have used

flax seed oil and cottege cheese for a year and have read numerous success

stories about it so I can only say that I prefer this to Omegasentials.

Perhaps someone with knowledge about both can help you further. Blessings.
