We have taken some prior to concedeing to euthanasia and it was all pretty far fetched to me. Yet you cannot argue with success. I have a few friends outside of the animal and email world..... please don't hold it against me....... or them...... Hi Budge - I suffer from multiple kidney stones as well. I wish if I had to

make stones that they could have been diamonds, but such is life. I feel

your pain.

Yeah, we went through that with the oldest boy. Now

we disconnect the internet unless we're home. Plus the

only computer with internet access is in our bedroom.

We also don't let them on chat rooms. They can use IM

or e-mail to communicate.

Hi, Terry,

I'm sure this must be a really sad time for you both. I know it will never be the same, but perhaps you can find a new "family member" to replace her. We have a 7 year-old black lab/boxer and a five year-old kitty. They're both very attached to each other. I shudder to think that someday I'll have to say goodbye to both of them.

In sympathy,

[ ] (unknown)

It is a sad weekend here in Az. Susy's dog Midget passed away yesterday. She was about 10 years old & we had her for about 8 years. Susy is taking it real hard, so is Dr Pepper. He is 7 years old & got him when he was a pup. He kind of thought Midget as his Mom or sister.

These people should all be destroyed!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, ,

How horrible! You know what the worse thing to hear about on my job with the State Police is? Injured animals, or cruelty to animals. It really breaks my heart. Here in VT there are a lot of car accidents which involve hitting a moose on the highway. They are huge, gentle creatures who don't move too fast and are no match for a vehicle going over 65 mph. Yes, very dangerous for the driver, too, but the moose are just doing what they've done for millions of years; they didn't ask for an Interstate with cars whizzing by all the time.

Also, it really bothers me when people just let their dogs loose, or tie them up outside and go away. Why do people get pets and then not take care of them??

It really upsets me. It brings me to tears to think about how defenseless all animals are, both pets and wild animals.

Take care,

Susy & I jokingly say if we knew what we do now, we would of just had dogs instead of kids. You don't worry about dogs growing up ti become well adjusted aduit's.

Back when our kids were still at home, it was like pulling teeth getting them to their jobs right. It would of been faster to do them myself & a lot less stress.

I am the same I do rescue and you would not believe the things I have seen. Puppymills that could get me going for days on end alone with that. I don't know much about wild animals not enough to help rescue them but I totally love what my state has to offer including bears. I don't see how people can do the things they do and those that abuse or harm and mutilate animals often make humans the next step. It drives me crazy to see the way some people treat their dogs I have had my share of sleepless nights after participating in a puppymill bust. I thought I'd lost my noodle myself till I saw it work in a case where we were willing to concede euthanasia might be the only acceptable solution. I am a believer now. Re: [ ] (unknown) I think I saw a movie, it may have been called the horse whisperer. Only he actually communicated with horses. Redford was in it, as I recall it was a pretty good movie. -dz- WILLIAM A WALTKE wrote: Have you heard of the Horse Whisperer? There are those who claim to be able to communicate with Doggies. I know that's true. I had each kid cook one night a

week this summer. Some of it was really gross. I'm

actually glad to be cooking again. They do appreciate

the effort a little more now. They are OK at laundry

as long as I remind them they are doing it. I won't

let them do Greg's and mine. Wrinkle-free stuff

actually wrinkles if you leave it in the dryer all

day.

I probably shouldn't admit this but I have kidnapped

neglected dogs and found them better homes. I was much

younger, but I'm not sure if I would still do it. I

would rather see them put down than neglected or

abused. Of course I treat my pets better than a LOT of

people treat their kids.

Our pets are thought of as our kids & we treat them the same way as we did the kids.

You were their guardian angle. You saved them and found a loving family for each one. I see nothing "bad" or illegal in what you did.

I have negotiated quite a few hostile releases. Some people don't see it as anyone elses business what they do with their property. I could tell you stories that would keep you awake at night. I always hold a special contempt for those who prey on the helpless and innocent. Violence I abhor in all cases, but especially when I hear of men (or women) taking advantage of the elderly or children or trusting pets who can't or don't know enough to defend themselves. I am not necessarily against breaking the laws of man as long as it is in defense of a higher law.. -dz-

Saw a great cartoon one time:

A woman is feeding her cat and her dog, and thought bubbles show

what each is thinking.

The dog says to himself: " She feeds me. She must be God! "

The cat says to himself: " She feeds me. I must be God! "

Have a good 1,
