I know exactly how you feel being a Mother myself I have often wished I could take my children's sickness away..It breaks our hearts to see them go through any type of pain be it either physically or emotionally.

Dave glad to hear you're feeling better today..I guess the rest you got yesterday helped a little huh? Maybe you were a little run down with all you got going on right now..We seem to forget at times we just can't do like we use to..I know I can't and when I push myself I pay for it for days later..

Hi Diane

It is always good to hear from you. I to have not been at the computer as

much lately. I have been working on my truck to get it back in driving

condition. All I have to do now is get tires, insurance, inspection sticker,

and license plates. Hope to be online more in the future.

If I have missed welcoming any new members to the group let me welcome you

now.

I hear you Terry. Due to " cost containment " we have

lost 4 people, down to 11 from 15 and carry about the

same workload. It makes it tough when somebody is

gone. I'm feeling a lot better today, so I expect I'll

try to go in a little early. -dz-

Well, with me it's either the frying pan or the fire.

That's what keeps me on my toes. We have fun teasing

each other. By the way, I will also turn 49 in

September. On the 3rd to be exact. -dz-

That's great..I always feel the way I am id due to the crap my ex's have put me through..I have always had to depend on myself for everything..With this hubby I don't work though but as far as moral support with my Hep he says he'd rather not talk about it..He has been to a couple appts with me though to get info but then he don't like talking about it and at times I really need to..That is one way I found this group and am sooo glad I did..I was blessed when I found all these great people..Don't know where I'd be without em.......Nice having you in here too now Terry....

I believe she meant better.. :) Nobody will tell you

it's a picnic, but its doable. It varies from one

person to the next how your body adjusts to the

medication. Some people can't take it, but most of us

manage. I found it very difficult in the beginning,

but found it manageable after a couple of weeks

getting used to it. -dz-

Hey, I read this article one time interviewing this

guy who was 116 years old. They asked him what he

attributed his long life to and he said " I never

smoked or drank to excess, and I never called a man a

liar to his face. " True story (or at least I read it

in our local newspaper) -dz-

LOL Terry, don't feel bad, our messaging gets kind of

convoluted at times. Just remember to blame the hcv

" brain fog " . -dz-

I was talking about programs I have read about that

will help people get treatment who can't afford it. I

don't know what the qualifications are, or if it is

only for people with no insurance at all, but if you

really have a financial hardship that would prevent

you from being able to be treated it would be worth

looking into. I'll research it a little bit and see if

I can find anymore info.

I know it's tough. I have to admit that many days

during treatment, even though I was there, they only

got about a half a day's work out of me, but I just

give it my best shot.. -dz-

If you've been through chemo, then you know what to

expect. I believe that we use the same medication

(interferon), but with smaller doses for a longer

period of time. I lost some hair, I think I noticed it

myself more than anyone else did. My hair got thinner,

though I didn't get any bald spots. We have all lost

some weight as well. You'll do fine.
