Yes I would have thought that too. I wonder if

they have some kind of lock out on it. I sent her

the links and everything but she couldn't get it.

I will see her first of the week I will try to help

her out with it more then. They have a cable provider

for service at her employers don't know if that

could have anything to do with it.

I think you are so so right cost containment. Medicine

dictated by insurance not the doctors can be a very frustrating

arena to have to do battle in. His doctor from what I can tell

didn't accomplish much but to scare them half witless and leave

them to their own devices. I am doing all I can to rememdy that

it is so difficult when you don't even know the issues that

lay before you. When I look though at what we know now that we

didn't a few short days ago... There might just be hope for us yet ; )

Hi

I also have to work through my HMO. My primary care

Dr. Wasn't very helpfull, didn't thank treatment was

needed till later but did send me to the gastrgest

" exuse my spelling " . Here I did get the needed

information & started me on treatment.

Yes I explained the need for the Gastroenterologist to Greg

and also a Hepatologist. I told him that you don't want to

find out you should have been referred for one when they

tell you I wish you'd of seen me a year ago. I know

Greg and all of you must have at one time felt very lost

and confused.

I feel the same way about this group..They have always been there for me..I use to feel so alone until I found them.I feel so blessed to have all of these people in my life now..I feel as though we have known each other forever. I am glad we have all been of some help to you and your family......

Yes this group is a blessing. I have enjoyed being a

part of it for the last three weeks. In about 2 hours

I'll be taking my 3ed shot. I hope this weekend goes

better then the last two weekends.

Terry you have done good so far so I beleive everything will go good this weekend too..What time do you take your shots? It is always better to take them late in the evening close to bedtime and that way the sides are better for you..You will sleep through most of them..I too had trouble sleeping with them and was also put on Trazadone to help me...I keep forgetting if you are on anti-depressants or not..Damn CRS of mine....LOL....Beings I can't but do try to blame my forgetfulness on tx I now have to blame it on CRS..LOL.Let me know ok..Glad to see you are here....

The bad thing is my 14 yr. old is just like me..She was talking to mu husband one day and he said he had never seen two people with the exact body movement and speech like she and I have..I had to laugh cause what she was telling him was exactly what and how I would have said it...

I am very frustrated by it too. My dr, at one time

prescribed me some medication and when I went to the

drugstore they told me that the insurance wouldn't

cover it. I had to go back to the dr and tell him what

they said he could prescribe for me. Then after I

tried 2 different medications that didn't work, they

would allow the one that was originally prescribed.

I know I would have been lost without this group too.

I think this is one of the great things about the

internet. Especially if you are in a smaller town.

There are no hepatitis support groups in my town, so

here I can get with other people going through the

same things I am. A dr, even a very good one, does not

know what I am going through. The people here do.
