I hear ya as that is exactly what I am like. Next Wed. I am going to see my Nuero and get a prescription for Baclofen I have read that a small amount will lessen the spasms so that walking is better. I want to try some and if it works great! If not Im not out much.Just have to throw it out.

Reg - It goes away after I lay and stretch for awhile but when I sit in one position for about 15-20 min. and go to move I can hardly walk. I wasn't this stiff before LDN. If that's part of the program I can certainly cope.

From all that I have heard and read any reaction that you may have to 1.5 of ldn is from the filler and not the ldn as 1.5 is really such a small amount that it will do very little either good or bad .

We are not talking about U.L.D.N. here now. That is a whole different ballgame!

I may be mistaken but I believe Dr.Bahari and his wife who use ldn as a cancer preventative use more than 1.5mgs themselves.

I was having problems with my teeth. I had talked to the MS Nurse and she said it is because of the medication we take which gives us a dry mouth. Apparently the saliva does help to cleanse the mouth.

Hope things work out for you :)

I have found the school tests to be real BULL.....they failed my kids every year the 1st couple of years...They never gave the status on what their vision was, they just sent a letter home stating they needed to go get it checked that they failed. After the 1st couple of panics considering they went to the specialist every 6 months....I went up to school....and flat out told them...."They were failing my children by the way they looked and not by the way they read the letters" I never once got a note home again....and my children ages 10 & 13 still dont need glasses. So don't panic til you see the dr. Good Luck Feichtner <mfeichtner@...> wrote:

I went online to see exactly what 20/200 vision was and what i found was disturbing. I'm hoping that his vision isn't really that bad. It said that 20/200 is considered legally blind if not corrected by lenses. Even though it can be corrected by lenses it was still disturbing to me. Does anyone have any experience with the schools vision screening and the actual testing with the opthamologist? Have the schools results been accurate with the opth. results?

I'm hoping the school is wrong. He already does wear glasses, but i'm not sure what his vision was before. I have the script for his glasses, but i don't know what his vision is. I have thought that he's needed a new script for awhile because he's been saying that he can see better without his glasses, which tells me that his prescription has changed. Who knows, guess i'll find out on April 30 bright and early. I got the first appt. of the morning since it was available and he has to have his eyes dilated.

i jsut had both my boys in for their 6 month eye check up. My younger guy has dry eyes syndrome so bad. He slleps with his eyes partially open and that is the problem. They sd they can partially take out his ptosis surgery to help the problem, but he looks great now and hate to go backwards. They also said they can life his lower lid a little to help fix the problem. He goes in the 24th to the surgeon to see waht needs to be done. i flood his eyes with gel at night but it doesnt seem to last long enough for him not to dry out. Right now he has considerable scaring on the white of his eye...but i am afraid it will eventually lead to the colored part, which is a problem..................It never ends ! Hello

Yes last year my daughter failed the vision test at her school. I

brought her to the opthamalogist and her vision was fine. Don't get worried

until

you see the opthamologist. , Aedan's mom

I tell all the school staff (for me and my children) that they have there eyes tested at the specialists and even though they continue the tests, they dont send letters home to me.

Dont worry take Gareth to a specialist who will give you an accurate test.

Hi Sharon

I was wondering how has been doing,so your post came at the same time.I am really pleased to hear she is aware of her surrounding a little more now (this is when the fun starts!).Dont worry about the drop in one eye too much s did the same as long as the lid is over her pupil she can see ( or so the surgeon told us).

Good luck with the next visit, and I tried to go to your link but it didnt work.My AOL account is lotttracy@... if you want to send pics

Hi ALl... saw the surgeon and the eye dr this week. They feel her surgery did her well. She is a new person in terms of looking all around and realy using her eyes. The still want to patch her right eye, which is still smaller than the other. They were exactly even after surgery but i guess when your muscles take over things change. They both feel she has some vision problems with her right eye, which they are trying to strengthen with the patching. She goes back in 2 weeks. i am sending a link to pictures i ti=ook of her today hope it works. Do the home/office mold test really detect anything since you don't actually put

them in an incubator?

Laurie,

Good question. Yes, they find something, but it is very skimpy and

rarely useful. And for many, many more reasons that not having the

right temperature and humidity in the lab. There are posts in the

archives that are quite detailed about this. BTW, the lab conditions

support optimum growth for one spectrum of mold and the house is

rarely optimum for any. So even the lab results are likely not

representative of the actual conditions to which you are exposed.

Go to www.ieconnections.com/archive/apr_05/apr_05.htm#article2 for an

article I wrote for Indoor Environment Connections last April. I

surveyed the industry for their opinions on mold testing. This is

what several of the national and international experts say.

Last Thursday I conducted a four hour workshop at the IAQA-AmIAQ-IESO

unification conference in Orlando discussing when should mold be

removed and when left alone. If removal is attempted, how do you know

when to stop?

There were about 450-500 people in the room representing most facets

of the industry - consulting, removal, research, equipment

manufacturers (but no ozone equipment!), sales people and many levels

of expertise ranging from new-comers to national experts. They

disagreed on many points but one point had unanimous agreement - lab

testing alone, no matter how it is is done or by who, is not

sufficient to make any decisions. It is only one of several pieces of

information that is necessary to form any kind of reasonable opinion.
