Maggie-I don't want to close the door....I would rather go through

it headed in your direction, or any other warmer climate. Oh, by the

way, anyone post myotomy notice that they are cold all the time?

Jo..In Michigan...with the door wide open!

It sounds very inviting..sometimes I feel like I will never be warm

again. It is a good thing that we have a hot tub on the deck.

Hey Jo! I am always cold, no difference pre/post op.

But I think maybe I should invest in a hot tub, that sounds

wonderful!!

I love it, but would like to have it enclosed. It is strange having

your head covered in snow while you soak in 104 degrees. I remember

the same thing from the hot springs resort in northern Japan, so I

guess it isn't too odd, but I would still rather not walk barefoot

through the snow anymore.

Hello wooleeacre@...,

In reference to your comment:

Thanks, Maggie... you are such a doll. How are you...?

I'm fine Carolyn. I am eating most things

since my 2nd dilatation 19 months ago. I

have a lot of "mini spasms" but most of the

time I can stop them with water.

Other than that I am just getting older and

slower. :)

Thanks for asking,

Maggie

Hi

Thanks so much for your imput, Tarlov cysts are cysts that are growing inside

the spinal cord and pressing on nerves and I can't find anyone that had had the

SCS and not had to have it taken out because it upsets the nerves further, glad

it is working for you though. I have had 5 operations with other problems on my

back, so really am at a loss as to what to do now. Thanks for your help, might

give it more thought.

It has helped so much with the pain. You must look upon it as a treatment not a

cure. I have been able to reduce my medication in half, and some medication I

have cut out altogether.

this to you. What's more important? Quality of life or Quantity of life? I'd go

for Quality any time over Quantity.

Totally agree with you, Jo. It should be called Maggie's Miracle if they can

discover something.

My thoughts and prayers are with Diane and family at this unbelievably difficult

time. Maggie is such an inspiration - by no means a saint, but just a great kid

who thinks of others first. She is an amazing girl who has touched many in her

young life.

Hugs to everyone, Michele ( 22, spondy)

Been asking everyone I know to give it everything they've got, praying for the

family.

We are indebted to Maggie for her selfless decision to donate her body so that

doctors can try find a cure for these diseases. If they do, they should call it

" Maggie's Miracle " !

Thinking of all our children at this time, wishing all the best for everyone,
