I was trying to find a different electric device that might be

effective against h pylori. Would the croft zapper work? And is it

safe? I see where it uses a 9 volt battery, which you say is

dangerous. TIA! Agnes

I would use the 6V battery with the wires and take coconut oil

internally; the caprylic and other acids in this oil are known to kill

H.Pylori.

Well ,thanks for that advice! I put together the super simple model-

battery and cloth covered wires, applied it to stomach and back, and

started getting die-off sensations! It was mild, but encouraging!

Hi. Take a pill cutter and chop the pills into tiny pieces and take them slowly with liquids over a short period of time. This will allow you to take them and not over do your stomach. There are also pill crushers, but chopping seems to work better. When the pieces go down in tiny chunks you don't get the awful flavor that you get with crushing/powder. Be careful doing that!  Some of those tablets may possibly be long acting. If Dr. Aceves told you to do it, then it's okay to do.  If you are unsure email Gaby and ask her.On Thu, Aug 27, 2009 at 7:27 AM, Sharon <sharonnkat@...> wrote:

Hi. Did not even think of that. Sorry. Yes. You should first ask your prescribing doctor or pharmacist first. Sent from Sharon L's iPhoneOn Aug 27, 2009, at 7:54 AM, chicalatina928@... wrote:

I have no idea what that is or what kind of antibiotics you are taking. That said, I take amoxicillin daily and I asked for the chewables. Good luck and like they said, talk to your dr about it. It is funny, I have never asked for chewable medicine so we don't tend to think of it but now (2 yrs after WLS) it is my first question when I get a prescription, can I get it in liquid or chewable and if not can I crush it. Hi,

I had a friend who said the cure was worse than the illness. So beware that this shall pass and take the meds. It is NEVER too late to ask for the liquid or chewable. Her Doctor here is the US told her that a lot of people become ill when taking the meds and she was thrilled when she had finished them--because they did make her feel ill. Do the best you can ok, and check in with us.

Yes, I was tested for it and I was negative. I have a friend who has it and even

though she took the antibiotices, it came back and she can't take the

antibiotics any more. It's a very strong strain of bacteria and sometimes you

can't get rid of it.

Hi everyone,

Someone posted about having the H. pylori bacteria, just a thought but if you are into alternative medicine you can take probiotis to help clear up the infection. Probiotics are in a pill and liquid form and can be found at your local health store. I take Probiotics daily because of the benefits of digestive health and as a defense against candida (yeast overgrowth) that almost everyone has. The information posted below is from medicinenet.com.

Uses for health purposesThere are several reasons that people are interested in probiotics for health purposes. First, the world is full of microorganisms (including bacteria), and so are people's bodies—in and on the skin, in the gut, and in other orifices. Friendly bacteria are vital to proper development of the immune system, to protection against microorganisms that could cause disease, and to the digestion and absorption of food and nutrients. Each person's mix of bacteria varies. Interactions between a person and the microorganisms in his body, and among the microorganisms themselves, can be crucial to the person's health and well-being. This bacterial "balancing act" can be thrown off in two major ways: 1. By antibiotics, when they kill friendly bacteria in the gut along with unfriendly bacteria. Some people use probiotics to try to offset side effects from antibiotics like gas, cramping, or diarrhea. Similarly, some use

them to ease symptoms of lactose intolerance—a condition in which the gut lacks the enzyme needed to digest significant amounts of the major sugar in milk, and which also causes gastrointestinal symptoms.2. "Unfriendly" microorganisms such as disease-causing bacteria, yeasts, fungi, and parasites can also upset the balance. Researchers are exploring whether probiotics could halt these unfriendly agents in the first place and/or suppress their growth and activity in conditions like:Infectious diarrheaIrritable bowel syndromeInflammatory bowel disease (e.g., ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease)Infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a bacterium that causes most ulcers and many types of chronic stomach inflammationTooth decay and periodontal diseaseVaginal infectionsStomach and respiratory infections that children acquire in daycareSkin

infectionsAnother part of the interest in probiotics stems from the fact there are cells in the digestive tract connected with the immune system. One theory is that if you alter the microorganisms in a person's intestinal tract (as by introducing probiotic bacteria), you can affect the immune system's defenses.
