Guest guest
, it took me about a week to feel better. What meds are you on? The Helidac Therapy made me sicker! It gave me diarrhea and awful stomach cramps. Hopefully, you are able to take the prevpak. Good luck, Alisha

Guest guest
propolis works beautifully for H Pylori. I like the liquid kind that really sticks to the inner walls. Guest guest
Hi , Type in "Helicobacter" in search. I think a course of broad spectrum antibiotics with Bismuth is the best treatment for Helicobacter pylori. Regards, Renier H Pylori Hello QXCIers, I am awaiting my machine (it is on its way). If you're considering acid blockers for GERD, (reflux) be warned that practically ALL people with GERD have not enough stomach acid, not too much. The lack of stomach acidity is called hypochlorhydria, and it is what triggers the reflux, which is nothing more than a natural vomit response. Check it out. When you increase stomach acidity the pyloric valve opens instead -- no more " acid reflux " , no GERD. Betaine HCl or glutamic acid is used for that. If you really do have helicobacter pylori, coconut oil will kill it. Duncan Crow (a wholistic consultant in Canada)

Guest guest
I am being treated for H Plyori right now. I had my surgery 1/04/05. I have had this gnawing feeling in my upper stomach like hunger but it wasn't hunger. Carbs made it feel better and I wasn't wanting to eat that many carbs. I also can feel something when I breath in real deep. I haven't felt bad, just not quite right. Dr. H is my dr. Let him know what you're feeling and he will prescribe your meds if you need them. I take 2 Prilosec per day; Pepto 4 times a day (Yuck!), Flagyl 4 times per day and Tetracycline 4 times per day for two weeks. You have to watch the dairy with the tetracycline and also can't take the pepto around the same time either.. Besides getting in all of the other stuff, but it's only for two weeks and I think it's helping. Dr. H 1/4/05 202/147/???? H Pylori Hello all! My Name is and I am going on two years since my MGB. I am thrilled with the results. I have lost 110 pounds since surgury(120 pounds from my all time high). I'm so glad I had it done. It has tryly changed my life. I don't post often but read all the post regularly. I am posting today trying to find out from those out there that have had H. Pylori. I am having some " problems " that I believe could be the H.P. I was wondering if some of you whould share your experiences with me about your H. Pylori symptoms and treatment. I have an appointment with my doctor next week. Anything you have to share would be appreciated. Thanks to all! Look under Bacter for types Kathy h pylori I tried searching on the QX for h pylori. I tried h-pylori heliobacter pylori, pylori heliobacter -- nothing showed up. This is a common problem, folks. Guest guest
Hello ALexis, Best to always search just the first few letters. Here are the matrix numbers I use 3388 Helicobacter, 2359 Campylobacter, 2033 Peptostrep, 3897 Gastroenterocoli. H. Py is also associated with Giardia so check that too. I am not sure if you are aware of all the great work that Kathy Blair has done with the program, spelling, and search functions. It's great stuff - contact her at blairlives.com. She does seminars and will install updates there or soon she'll have a disc available. Well worth it!!!, Regards, Lori Marcus > > I tried searching on the QX for h pylori. Guest guest
I read today that the stomach needs Bl2 in order to function. When Bl2 is low, h pylori can go out of control and other organs start taking the hit. is Rotella, M.Ac., CNC > > > I tried searching on the QX for h pylori. Guest guest
is, can't quite see why stomach needs B12 or B12 deficiency leads to H. Pylori getting out of control - but may be this is a new finding and would love to know. Usually it's the prevalence of H.Pylori infections that leads to B12 deficiency. - the initial infection with the bacterium probably takes place only when the acidity level in the stomach is decreased - even if temporarily (NSAIDs, anatcids etc.) - this leads to atrophic gastritis, loss of function of the secretory cells of the fundus and atrium sections of the stomach. Loss of parietal cells causes redcution in acid production (HCl) and intrinsic factor (IF), leading to increased microbial activity in the GI tract and deficiency in B12 and Folic Acid. - lack of HCl may inhibit the liberation of B12 from other nutrients AND overgrowth of microorganisms compete for the B12 that is available. - more seriously lack of IF will reduce absorption of B12. B12 is released from food complexes by action of pepsin (which depends on HCl to be activated). B12 then binds to glycoproteins, called R-proteins, which takes it to the duodenum. In the duodenum this complex is degraded by pancreatic proteases releasing the free form B12 again. B12 then binds to IF and in this conjugated form, B12 travels to the terminal ileum to be absorbed by active transport. Only 1-2% of B12 is passively absorbed in the intestine without the need for IF. - Also the metabolism of B12 and Folic Acid is related because B12 is necessary for the incorporation of Folic Acid into the human tissue(in red blood cells and not just in serum). So a deficiency in B12 is a very strong predictor of simulataneous deficiency in Folic Acid. So atrophic gastritis and lack of HCl (achlorhydria or hypochlorhydria) have important implications: - increased microbial enteric infections and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth - increase in intestinal permeability due to malabsorption and/or bacterial overgrowth - nutrient malabsorption leading to deficiencies - in the elderly, lack of HCl can also lead to protein and amino acid deficiency. Always check for HCl and digestive health on the SCIO. Forgive me for the long tutorial. Be well, Azizah jadespring2003 wrote: I read today that the stomach needs Bl2 in order to function. Guest guest
" She is always constipated and I just decided her tummy is upset because of constipation... " Terri - Forgive me for talking with you about this again, but I can't remember whether or not Molly was being treated for constipation. My kiddo had overgrowth of a pathogenic GI bugs as well as constipation (like many children with PIDs). She is now treated with Miralax, fluid, probiotics on a very strict routine. BUT, this is only maintenance medication -- the underlying infection, if there is one like h.pylori, must be addressed. Constipation/dysmotility simply compounds the problem -- sort of a vicious cycle situation. My kiddo would vomit and spike high fevers due to " back up " ... it was awful living with a baby that would not eat, was in chronic pain, and slept in 3 hour intervals. So, I know the drill and my heart goes out to you. Hope Molly feels better soon. mom CIVDer
Guest guest
Maybe I should give a little more info....I can usually feel when I am having h pylori die off and I haven't with the zilling. I've been using the sponges horizontally rather than vertically. Is that OK? I don't know much about this whole field, maybe this is a bug that doesn't get killed by current? Thanks. > > I recently made a gutzilla and have been trying to zap my h pylori. It > doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any suggestions? Guest guest
you've probably just finished your research, this won't work on h pylori apparently, too fast replicating and deep in the body. have you got this condition tested or are you guessing about the pylori? Not being accusative, just want to know. I'd like to file a report in our files, but need to know exactly what the germ is. When I have internal stuff like food related, I take colloidal silver to kill anything bad, but that's just me. sorry it didnt' work bG > > > > I recently made a gutzilla and have been trying to zap my h pylori. > It > > doesn't seem to be doing anything. Guest guest
Well, now that's hard to say. I was tested positive, took the prev- pak, symptoms went away. When I started eating problem foods, EXACT symptoms returned, but I got tested again, and it was negative. So I'm not sure what is going on??? (I think the antibiotics knocked it back, but didn't eradicate it) I think it is some kind of bacteria because it responds to things like CS, primal defense, and GSE. Darn, I guess I should have asked you first! I got excited about it. Thanks for the help. Guest guest
Yes, it was easy to make, and I am sure it will come in handy some day. I can't seem to find where you keep these success and failure stories. I know you say in the files and I've looked thru the files to the left of the messages. can you direct me? I would like to see what it does work for. Thanks > > > > > > > > > > I recently made a gutzilla and have been trying to zap my h > > > pylori. > > > > It > > > > > doesn't seem to be doing anything.
