Val Rob's Mom (4,systemic) ps - Our fire alarm goes off so frequently - it is very sensitive and workers soldering in one area will set it off - our poor patients look around as those of us who are staff don't even appear to hear it. (though here in DC that has changed a little). I always go out to the waiting room and tell our patients that the announcement would tell us if we needed to leave - the alarm just says " Code 100 " - so they don't know what is going on.
