and it dose help. I take four capsules a day and wondered how to

calculate this as coconut oil on Fitday. One capsule is 300 mg.

Also, I noticed new conversation on how coconut oil can reduce

sleep. I take the Monolaurin before 3 PM and I don't have a sleep

problem. I do cook with coconut oil.

==>Hi Eileen. Welcome to our group. By taking an isolated substance

derived from coconut oil that means you are not getting lauric acid

also found in coconut oil, along with the other co-factors - see this

article: http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/coconut_oil.html

==>So trying to translate a whole food like coconut oil into the

amount of monolaurin you are currently taking is not possible. You'd

be better off just taking coconut oil by starting on low doses and

gradually increasing them up to 5-6 tbls. per day, and gradually

decreasing your monolaurin at the same time.

==>Coconut oil taken too close to bedtime interferes with sleep

because it provides such a wonderful source of energy, which can rev

a person up, so they cannot sleep as well.

==>I have good reasons to believe that any and all forms of arthritis

are caused by toxins.

> I feel so much better since lowering my carbs and increasing the

fats and protein. I don't eat processed foods yet I was still amazed

at how many carbs I had been eating. Some days I have been very tired

but that seems to be lifting now. I had already stopped eating sugar

so that hasn't been an issue.

==>Good for you Eileen!

==>Thanks so much. I'm glad you are enjoying it!

The best, Bee
