Yes, but not a separate system like the others that you can just point

to and say " This is the immune system " .

Interesting. Struggling to make the paradigm shift, but I tend to

agree. It is not one single " stand alone " system, but rather the

working of several systems together for the betterment of the whole.

Peace, love, laughter

Lynn, Maybe I can explain it better... We use "immune system" because most folks don't comprehend that the lymphatic system is where it starts and then spreads out... that the whole body works on immunity.. When you boost the "immune system" you are boosting everything. Does this make it easier to understand... there is a circulatory system... we can see that... but we can't really see an "immune system" we see basically the whole body.Don Eitner <mysticalherbalist@...> wrote: Hi Lynn,I realize that your medical training is not much different from mine. However, contrary to what your medical books will tell you there is noimmune system. It is a misnomer. Yes, my A & P book contains and immunesystem too but look a little deeper. The immune system

they talk aboutis in fact comprised of the whole organism. The lymphatic system beingthe base as it is the major part of the sewer system of the body. The socalled immune system even comprises the circulatory system, the skeletalsystem, the integumentary. Matter of fact, the so called "immune system"is comprised of the whole body. You cannot separate out the immunesystem as you can the lymphatic system, etc. This is why I have made thestatement that there is no such system but the whole organism is the system.Don't know if this helps you understand any but you are totally entitledto your choice in beliefs.Don

yes. I totally understand. It's a composite system. That is not to say it isn't a " system " . It's a system. And I will continue to create essential oil blends to boost the theoretical immune system.
