Guest guest
Hi Kenny I agree with Teri. According to my understanding....there is only ONE WAY a doctor can definately say you have Chronic Hep - the Viral Load Test. The Antibody and Liver Function tests do not. You say your doctor didnt do this test, so how the h*ll can he tell you your HCV is back? If what your saying is true.....I think I might be looking for another doctor. There is definately something wrong with this story. For now, I wouldnt be freaking out if I were you. AND As Teri posted earlier, Vertex Pharm has applied for fast tracking of Telaprivir, the new Protease Viral Inhibitor.....maybe by next spring being approved for public use. This means - 'if' - you have to Treat again, your chances of SVR are really really good. love don in ks I mentioned before that I haven't had a test in a few years. I also mentioned that my last test stated I was 'undetected'. Unfortunately, this last test shows that this stubborn virus has once again rinsen from it's slumber. I am very stressed out right now. I realize that I may have to take interferon again. The first time sucked and I don't think this time will be any different. My doctor forgot to find out my viral load so I won't know what that is until the next time I visit (Jan 24). Thank all of you for your support! This group is a real blessing...Kenny
