Guest guest
Is anyone familiar with candidiasis testing by Alletess Labs in MA(www.foodallergy.com)? I received my results, but cannot afford to go back to my doctor for interpretation. Results show: Candida albicans: IgG=41, IgA=63, IgM=87 Immune Complex=91 Values are reported in MONA (Multiple of Normal Activity) Units Abnormal - MONA Unit>100 Normal - MONA Unit<=100 Candida Albicans Test Interpretation 1.Abnormal IgM antibodies may indicate recent Candida overgrowth. 2.Significant increase in the level of IgA antibodies is suggestive of mucosal barrier overgrowth of Candida infection. This overgrowth could be digestive, nasal, mouth, ears, vaginal, or of skin origin. 3.Increased levels of IgG may suggest an ongoing chronic infection. 4.Significant increase in IgG and /or IgM is suggestive of a recent or recurrent overgrowth of Candida. 5.An increased level of IgG, IgM antibodies and/or Candida Immune Complex is believed to be indicitive of systemic Candidiasis. Elevated Immune Complex could suggest systemic candida infection. So...my results are under 100 (in the " Normal " range), BUT then they go on to say in the Test Interpretation that my results may be abnormal...???...and " may suggest " a candida infection. This is very confusing to me. I'd appreciate any advice from someone who has experience with such testing. Thanks,
