Guest guest
I would suggest taking vitamin C to bowel tolerance. Emergen-C is a very expensive way to get C if one takes a lot. I generally start with a gram of C every hour, then up the dose to a gram every half hour if a gram an hour does not give me loose stool. If you use caffeine, you might want to stop caffeine use while fighting a cold. Alobar On 12/19/06, ckrtil <ckrtil@...> wrote: > I'm fighting a cold; I think it is beginningn to win. Guest guest
My first choice is colloidal silver; I sell it occasionally but mainly just tell people about making their own. It's actually a cure for colds and flu; gets about 80% of the load off anyway, overnight. Consider vitamin D AND C, and generally, an antioxidant program. Guest guest
Catharine for the cold...CS of course and Ossillococcinum or Influenzinum.......VERY GOOD. Vitamines C and A-D in wintertime for more resistence. Trudy
Guest guest
Olive leaf extract is one thing that has helped me to not get a cold/flu in 12 months. This is a big deal for me as the family bring them home and then I get them. This is dispite people seezing and coffing all over the place. I always get them because its winter and I cant go outside to escape it. But its also happening in summer as well. Before I started taking it,i would get 3 minimum a year...cold or flu. serious enough to make me fell really ill. NOW,I havnt had one in 12 months. I get a bit sniffly, but the next day its gone. I could always tell when I was getting one when people around me were spreading it to me. I would get this feeling in the back of my throat. It was always right...when I felt it I knew i was going to get it. Now,I havnt had that feeling for 12 months and considering that I have had a cold or flu for as long as I can remember EVERY year, this is amasing stuff. But you must get the liquid made from fresh leaves, not dried, otherwise it wont work. Not many companies selling it like this. I get mine from an Aussie company who makes it themselves. Liquid gold !
