Hi there, I really welcome anybody's opinion on this as I am

wondering what has really happened to me. I used to smoke n the very

rare occassion (maybe once every few weeks, on one day). Only if I

was around a person that was smoking and I might join them and have

one of theirs.

This is rare, and I am not normally a " smoker " at all. I do inhale

when I do have one.

About 7-8 weeks ago, on my birthday, I went out and bought a packet

of cigarettes (pall mall menthol) and stupidly smoked the entire

thing. This was about 20 cigarettes in a day. Don't ask me why, I

just had the urge and binged on them. Well, of course, not

surprisingly I didn't feel too hot the next day but I had NO idea how

bad things were going to get.

I still don't know for sure if what has happened to me relates to

this, but I cannot think what else has occured. I have suffered,

since that time, cramping/spasms in the abdomen, rectal itching,

severe exhaustion, metal taste in the mouth, metal smell on my body

on occassion, nausea, muscle tics over parts of my body even legs and

shoulders, anxiety and depression far worse, moments of extreme

crying and salivating uncontrollably to the point where I will go

into such a state that my face and head will feel as though it's

going to explode, I can feel something wrong badly but cannot seem to

overcome this no matter what.

I am on a strict diet, yet cannot overcome any of these symptoms as

such. I am trying to eat well and I do not have the money sadly to

fork out for a lot of supplements. I am eating very healthy foods!

plus healthy fats (coconut oil included). Why after nearly 8 weeks,

are things like this????

Can anybody let me know if they feel that what I did is directly

related to what I'm still going through? I actually feel this is

neverending. I keep thinking I'm going to beat this and it'll be

better tommorrow, but I get up and I have that awful feeling of dread

with the gut sensation (It feels like it's being pulled inwards).

Why can I not overcome my candida this time? I was doing ok before.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi ,

It sounds like you've poisoned yourself. The body is quite

forgiving but then it reaches a point where it just can't eliminate

toxins properly anymore. Fibromyalgia is a classic example. When

these people detoxify and their cells start taking in nutrients

again (this is a very simple explanation), then they will get better

and symptoms go away.

Cigarettes contain a lot of toxins and some metals as well which

would explain the metallic taste:

http://www.satori-5.co.uk/word_articles/mcs/toxins_in_cigarettes.html

I would recommend doing an ionic detox footbath. Preferably about

three. Prices vary greatly, I've seen from $25-$90 so call around

and see if you can find somewhere reasonable.

Every person who has ever smoked carries some residue of tar in

their body, no matter how healthy their diet is and no matter how

long ago they quit smoking. One or two footbaths will get rid of

this and at the same time charge your cells with energy.

I think this would really help. It helped some detoxification

issues I had a few years ago that nothing else did.

Hope you get better soon. And stay off the cigarettes!

Hi,

I am far from an expert, but I have read Doug Kaufmann's books, (The

Fungus Link I, II, and III, along with others), and have watched his

TV program, " Know The Cause. " Doug feels that the fungus link is far

more prevalent than is recognized by mainstream medical folks. After

reading what happened to you, I would hazard a guess that you took

into your body a lot of mold from the tobacco and that you now have a

viralent systemic fungal infection. If you want to find out more

information you might want to visit his website

http://www.knowthecause.com/

I have been on his Phase I diet for almost a year now, for I

developed a severe systemic fungal infection myself. I believe it is

far more than just candida. I am improving but have not

yet " arrived. " Good luck to you.

Warmly,

gg

HI Sharon,

Thanks a lot for responding.

I read the link you sent and it's shocking. I guess someone with

proper functioning detox pathways may not have such of an issue. My

problem is that any slip up, and toxins tend to migrate straight into

my gut/liver. I end up in such pain that often I cannot do much at

all. Any detoxing I try is to no avail when this occurs. I have

actually tried homeopathic detox, I've tried chelation, I eat well

and usually there is nothing I can do but hope and wait.

however, what you have suggest maybe a help. I'll check it out.

Cheers and thanks again, (and oh yeah, I will not have a cigarette

again).

or whomever wants a liver function chapter from one of the

founders of Great Smokies Labs, just ask privately. The work details

phaseI and PhaseII liver function.

The main support for the body's cells and energy creation generally

and the main support for PhaseII liver function is glutathione; one

of the reasons I recommend undenatured whey so highly for

detoxification is for it's glutathione precursors.

Anyway, the article is well worth a read for the vitamin support too.

Juice Fast. It's awesome for you, but it will cleanse this out fastest. You'll

feel good again. You don't have to do it long, but maybe a week? That's up to

you, but it is my suggestion. I love juice fasting................
