Hi

Incredible devastation all across Missouri, from north of Kansas City to

down deep in the Ozarks. 38 now dead, 10 missing.

We thank God our town was spared though the southern part of our county and

neighboring Cedar County were hit hard. We didn't even know this until this

morning.

Thanks for your concern.

and and Family

Re: Storms

> Well, we are in for it today. On Saturday part of our area got hail but

the bad stuff you got will be in my area in the Upstate of SC and mountains

of NC soon. Hope everyone from the list and families are okay. The news

this morning showed lots of devastation.

It goes to say we are all different. When there is a storm, the wind is blowing

and the clouds are moving around~I feel great and energized (positive/negative

ions? which ones?). However, when the fog hangs around and there is no or

little sun for days (which is where I live on the coast of California), I am low

in energy and tired and aching. If it's too hot, I get sleepy, so there's no

happy medium it seems. I do well in sunlight but cooler temperatures.

We moved from Maine to Arizona 3 years ago. My husband said I was a

great weather predictor in Maine. When we lived there I was almost

bedridden. And I hated when the barometer dropped. It would increase

my pain and fatigue measurably. We considered moving to Kentucky where

many of my relatives live. But the humidity was a great factor in

deciding against that location.

I have had a definate improvement to my health. I improved by 50%

after getting over the challenge of the move. So for me it was worth

the effort and expense of moving. I just feel so much better in the

dry climate. Now, many would not do well with the heat here. But

cold was my enemy, so the heat doesn't bother me.

Well, I had snow for a couple of hours that I know of on Friday (I got up at about 3 PM and saw some on the ground by 5 PM it was almost all gone) so I was not affected very much.

That happens. It took me a while to remember about the continuous shooting button or the video feature. For that matter I didn't think about the night option either. Of course it hasn't helped that they were flying around at night over the weekend too, that and that they were mostly just below the treetops for most of the time.

I'm a perfectionist and you sound like me. Everyone I have shown these pictures to have liked them, but I too think I could have done better.

Thank you. It is amazing because by looking at the clouds we could have had at least 5-6 (if not more) tornados this evening. Well, not one funnel cloud actually touched down. The lightening was pretty vivid and scary at times, but again, we were spared any outages.

The kids got pretty shook up as the sirens did sound a couple of times, but we just kept going on as we normally would except for having the local channel on to keep up with the weather. Pretty soon, they took our cue and all has finally settled down now (at least here).

Please keep us and this area of the states in your prayers as we have strong t-storms moving through. Already had one tornado warning. DH has already told me to shut computers down, so will be offline until further notice.
