Guest guest Posted March 15, 2006 Report Share Posted March 15, 2006 I just received a call from Denver Health & Hospitals. They have agreed to take me on as a patient... finally. I have my first appointment with a new neurosurgeon on 3/21/06 1:30PM. I wish they'd just let me go back to my original surgeon, but he's not part of the health plan at the hospital. I hate going to new doctors and having to explain my entire history to them. It's always so difficult. So this time, I'm just going to write it all up and print it out. Then I can just hand it over to them and hopefully avoid all the wasted time and energy. It takes everything I have just to GET to the appointment. They never seem to understand that, do they? Thankfully, it's only about a 10 minute bus ride, so I won't be in as much pain as I usually am when I get stuck sitting on the bus. Cross your fingers that they're willing to at least consider surgical options for getting rid of this pain.
