Guest guest Posted October 20, 2006 Report Share Posted October 20, 2006 Monday is my birthday and my 3rd anniversary on Xolair. Best birthday present I ever received. That said, I am closing in on four weeks on antibiotics and pred. I am having serious sinus issues and they may have to be drained. I am also on two steroid inhalers in an effort to keep my lungs under control b/c I cannot seem to reduce the inflammation in my head. Sigh. I think the root cause is mold in one of the offices on our floor caused by a roof leak which should have been fixed by the developer in August. My boss has been at war with the developer and now he and his partner are taking things into their own hands. My boss's parter works for a huge fire/water damage assessment-reconstruction company and he is coming in today to encapsulate the area and re-work the duct system and de-mold that office. To the good side, I have been trying to get my Xolair dosage increased back to 375mg every two weeks. When I cahnged insurance companies last year I had to start over and somehow I got 300mg every two weeks. Well, the latest shipment came yesterday and includes the extra vials, so between increasing my dosage and my boss and his partner taking care of the other situation, I am hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel.
