It did react different in than anyone else so he developed massive amounts of nasal phlegm. We did start the OraPred on Saturday which was day 3 after the virus as he was only holding down minimal amounts of food and liquid. The excess phlegm was causing him to gag and vomit. His lungs were the most wonderful sounding things you have ever heard. All the pops, gurgles, and squeaks that have been so much a part of seem to have simply vanished.
