anyone had their sinuses drained?

I am having serious sinus issues. After a week on antibiotics and

pred, (not to mention all the inhalers), I have seriously swollen

sinuses. My doc says that my turbinates are so swollen that several

of them have probably closed in on themselves and I've probably got

pockets of infected gunk that can't go anywhere. (Yes, I'm miserable.)

Anyway, I go for a CT scan tomorrow and he said I may have to have

them drained.

Has anyone had such a procedure? If so, please email me about it.
