Guest guest
I get steroid-triggered hot flashes. They are terrible. When Xolair first started kicking in three years ago and I was coming off steroids after months of monthly or twice-monthly tapers, I had such a hard time that I went to my GP about it, fearing that I had early onset menopause. She did some blood work and urinalysis (for a number of things) and was able to determine that I did not have early onset menopause. Check with your GP. There's also a great book called " Coping with Prednisone " that was written by a doctor and her sister, who needed large quantities of pred for a chronic illness. Gives good suggestions for dealing with the evil candy and its side effects.
