I'm a newbie to this list, in fact a newbie to fermenting. I have been

making coconut water kefir that comes out delish with the body ecology

powder; but now that I know about *real* grains, I've been trying to

ferment coconut water with water kefir grains, without much success.

Would you mind sharing your recipe, including ferment times?

By the way, my local supermarket orders fresh young coconuts from

www.melissa's.com, and www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com sells just the

coconut water packaged without preservatives. I too would like to find a

substitute as this stuff is very pricey.
