Guest guest
I am not able to purchase dried anchovies where I live. Does anyone purchase theirs over the internet? If so, could you please send me the link to the site you buy them from? I have done a search and come up with a few stores but thought someone out there might have a good source. Thanks, Teoma
Guest guest
Thanks Beau! I ordered some from the site you posted. Looking forward to frying them in VCO and using them in kimchi. Teoma > Hello Teoma, I have the same problem so I just purchased some dried anchovies and korean red pepper powder from this site. Another kind list member shared it with one of these groups. > The second link will take you directly to the red pepper page. > Beau > http://www.koamart.com/shop/12-dried_food.asp > http://www.koamart.com/shop/30-hot_peppers_paste.asp > Dried Anchovies > > > > I am not able to purchase dried anchovies where I live. Guest guest
Darrell, I emailed the company asking them about the difference b/t the two. They said the soup stock anchovies are a bit larger than the pan frying anchovies. Other than that there was not much of a difference. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Teoma, Thanks for checking on that. You get a Saffron Star! Looking back at the picures of the two products, the soup anchovies do look a little bigger if I squint.
