The glossary cracks me up

I love the fellowship we have in this group. We all share

a common enemy: ASTHMA and our struggle just to be able to breathe. It

is good that

we can get a laugh out of the trials and tribulations that we have

with this ailment. The Bible does say: " A merry heart doeth good like

a medicine. " Proverbs 17:22

My thanks to everyone who makes this group so great! A special thanks

to Addy, my co/owner/moderator. Without her help this group would not

be as successful as it is. I am proud to say that our group has the

best people!

Even though Company that owns my Allergist's clinic extremely

overcharges anyone not in an insurance network with them and are not

very nice with the billing and insurance, he and his staff are

wonderful, caring and compassionate people.

When I get my Xolair shots tomorrow, I am going to give them a copy of

our new terms LOL! My nurse is going to (as we call it here in

Arkanas) " bust a rib. "

Here is another new name for the peak flow meter: " Blow Gun "

Also a new one:

Chihuahua = Some people say can they can take away asthma. Yes this

little dog WILL take your asthma away but only if it brings you your

many, many PRESCRIPTION medications. (GRIN)
