Guest guest Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Hello, I am 36 years old and I had asthma for the past 2 and 1/2 years. My allergist prescribed Xolair and I was approved quickly by my insurance. On Monday I had my first shot, I was feeling rather well that day. However, on Tuesday morning I woke up with stuffed nose, sore throat and really bad allergy symptoms (running nose, etc). Two nights later (tonight) I had to most scary time of my life. Here I am at 4:02 in the morning thinking if I should drive to the ER or not. Not sure if is related to the Xolair shot or not, I also got started recently on Zyflo and I was taking regularly Singulair, Allegra D, nebulizer with pulmicort and foradil and an antibiotic. I was also winding down on a doze of Prednisone, I was on the last 5 mg doze. I am counting the minutes until morning and I hope this was not caused by Xolair. It would really suck if I can't tolarate it. I just wanted to share my experience hoping someone else can relate. Sebis Quote
