Guest guest Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I don't recall the dosage I'm getting, but my doctor just told me that I can get the shots once a month instead of every 2 weeks. They just double up the dosage. Does anyone else do that? Does it work? I've been very congested this last week and I'm due for the shot on Friday. I'd rather get it monthly because I have to drive an hour each way and pay a $40 co-pay each time, so it's double the trouble/cost to go every 2 weeks. But I'll go more often if it will make a difference in the way I feel. Thanks, Carol Quote
Guest guest Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Hi, Carol, I get two shots once a month. I have not had one for a month and a half. I have been on vacation and retreat and my doctor was out the days I was home in between the two events so I am due on Tuesday of this week. As for the payment I am not sure. I have to check the payment sheets and will question somethings on Tuesday. Hope all are breathing well. Sr. mary Volz, C.R. Guest guest Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 I get my shots twice a week. If I miss a week and I don't take them until the third week, I notice a definite increase in symptoms.
