Guest guest Posted July 24, 2006 Report Share Posted July 24, 2006 Hi, I've been lurking awhile. I am dealing with a sudden onslaught of allergies starting last year. I spent all winter going in and out of the emergency room while they were trying to figure out what was wrong. I have been on so many steriods that I gained a huge amount or weight. Finally my family doctor gave me a referal to see an allergist and now I am finding out that I am pretty much allergic to everything. I am on Advair , Singular, Nasanex, and of course Albuteral. I started on Zolair a few months ago but this month they took me off because of some major joint pain even tho I begged to remain on it. I rather deal with the joint pain then worry about breathing. It seems that the company that ships my Zolair to me still hasn't gotten the doctor's report saying to stop shipment so I have my refrig. filled with Zolair does anyone know how long this will keep if kept cold? I am hoping to convince my doctor to let me go back on the medication but I know how expensive this stuff is and would also hate it to just sit in there and go bad.
