Guest guest
Even though I am on COBRA, the place where I used to work changed insurers so I have to change, too. That means another PA - my third! I have yet to have one go through the first time. If ever there was a poster child for this drug working, it's me. My doctor fills out the insurance paperwork thoroughly every time, but the questions that come back with the rejection are often ludicrous. This time there were things like, " has the patient ever had scratch tests? " I know that when I get a new job, I'll have to do this all over again. It is irritating to me that I have a proven track record of Xolair working better than anything else (having tried everything) and I have to go through this time and time again. Guest guest
I just wanted to say that I was approved again for Xolair, but this time only until 1 Jan 2007. There was no explanation for the temporary approval, nor for what happens after that date. This has never happened to me before.
Guest guest
I had to get re-approved after a year, and apparently each year from now on. I did not have the problems with approval the second time that I had the first! Every year, my doctor has to resubmit the paperwork to get me authorized again and it goes through very quickly. Doug
Guest guest
In our case, a preauthorization is required every six months but is always approved. uca79iii <uca79iii@...> wrote: --- In , " lurkitty117 " <scruffy@...> wrote: > > I just wanted to say that I was approved again for Xolair, but this > time only until 1 Jan 2007.
