Guest guest Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 hi friends, some of you might now, my beloved RN cheryl, at my asthma/allergy office is leaving. i've been there since 1988, and she came in 1990. there's only two people who have been with the office longer, the dr and the secretary (i laugh that they count me in their seniority, since i'm a patient - LOL) anyway, cheryl told me at my last appt that she was retiring. she said after working for 42 years, she's " done " . i'm so sad!!! she's helped me through so much....i really want to do something great for her, but i have no idea what. any ideas?? she said she's going to continue working until they find a replacement for her at the office. fortunately, they're picky about the nurses that work there, so i know the replacement will be fabulous, but no one can replace my cheryl. her comment made me laugh...she said " we've both been through a lot of nurses " ..hehe.. anyway, ideas?? thanks heather There is work that is work and there is play that is play; there is play that is work and work that is play. And in only one of these lie happiness. -- Gelett Burgess --------------------------------- How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Quote
