Guest guest Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I just learned that I qualify for Xolair according to my blood test. Now they're going to get with provider companies and let me know how much it will cost. Does it make a big difference in allergy symptoms? Can one get off Advair? I don't just want to add yet another level of medication. Carol Quote
Guest guest Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Carol, I would recommend you read our archives from 9/03 to about 4/03. That's when those of us who've been on Xolair since it was released started seeing improvement. Some folks have gotten off ALL Their oral and inhaled meds thanks to Xolair. Others have been able to step down significantly. Of all the people who've posted over the last 2 and a half years, I can think of only three people who didn't have significant gains.
