Guest guest
Like I posted a few weeks ago...MUST BE NICE! My doctor HAS to charge me 114.00 a shot. Thats 228.00 every two weeks NOT including the cost of the Xolair itself. I pay 120.00 for a 3 month supply through MedcoHealth Specialty Pharmacy. His practice is owned by a large clinic and they will NOT let him allow patients to give themselves ANY kind of injectons at home, even though I have given myself regular allergy injections for over 20 years. The clinic owners are the ones to set the rules, prices and bill the insurance. They are calling the shots " Chemotherapy treatments " even though I do not have cancer. WIERDDDDDDDDDD! The clinic owners HATE Blue Cross with a passion and are NOT in network, so my insurance will only pay 70%. Last month, I told the doctor that I could not take Xolair anymore due to the high cost of the administration of the shots. There is NO doctor or clinic within 150 miles that give Xolair except mine. The doctor HIMSELF has taken matter into his own hands and is giving me a huge PERSONAL discount. I don't know if his bosses are making him pay for it out of his own personal pocket or what, but I am now paying only 20.00 a shot after insurance for administration. Like I said..MUST BE NICE! If you can give them to yourselves consider yourselves very blessed. Doug Group Founder Co/moderator Co/owner
